If it comes down to a straight battle between Gills and Charlton I'll give you £100. My money is still well and truly on Oldham.

Will be us I reckon, injuries are racked up and literally struggling for a decent XI at the moment... by the time it clears up we will be facing the likes of Sheff United and Bolton.

So many factors point in our direction :
- Ridiculous injury list
- Inexperienced manager
- Winnable games quickly running out
- putting pressure on our home form because we can't win away
- No leaders on the pitch
- Scoring 4 goals all season in the first 30 minutes
- Inability to keep clean sheets
- Horrendous last 4 games before the end of the season
- Issues with the owner
- Improved form of teams above us that can string together a few positive results

It all looks like textbook relegation formula to me. I'd be amazed to be proved wrong.

You think your injuries are bad, the only defender we have available for Saturday is a youth teamer who made his debut last week in a 4-1 defeat.

I think that most of us have been through a period where we could tick most if not all of those boxes, unfortunately (or fortunately for the rest of us) this season it appears to be the turn of The Vale and The Gills? Although it looks like at least one of you will survive.

If we are still in the mix on the final day it will definitely be us.

We will be facing the Manager we sacked in January and we have an appalling record of going down with barely a whimper at a time that we should be fighting for our lives, while all the other teams involved raise their game and get a result.

Previous relegations were confirmed at Nottingham Forest and Wycombe in that fashion, even though both those teams had already been relegated themselves.

I'd fancy us to get victories over Fleetwood, Rochdale and possibly Wimbledon on the final day if we needed it. Having said that, it won't be easy.

Would be my predictions here!
If Gillingham were playing you'd have had them down to win and all.

We are playing, and I think we'll draw. Would you describe my predictions as particularly outlandish? The top three to win games at poor sides, and a draw between two sides 6 points apart. Not exactly groundbreaking stuff.

I'd expect Oldham and Shrewsbury to lose comfortably, on paper Fleetwood should win but can see Bury getting a result. Gillingham is one of those as Posh are hit and miss... neither are great at the back so could come down to who can take chances... go for a high score draw.

If we have someone like Hooper fit then I feel we can win being at home based on recent weeks but if we rely on Reggie as a lone striker then we have no chance. This is the weekend we need to win as the others all have extremely tough assignments and expect us to go above Shrews with 3 points tomorrow and out the zone.

Yeah, the fact you think next season will be our 'third straight season' in League One leads me to ignore most of what you have written.

That's not to say I don't think we'll go down, we very well may. I'm thinking at the moment though that 5/6 more points should be enough.

A bit harsh, I think. I made a small mistake but I think it's indicative that Charlton really shouldn't be in League One, let alone anywhere close to the relegation area with the talent in the squad (even putting aside all the problems surrounding the ownership).

I've done an accy with Oldham, Vale, Swindon, Bolton and Carlisle

Oldham @ 5/1 is massive. We could have beaten Blades last week, for God's sake!

It is considering we don't conceed many. Even when we were ridiculously shite before shez came back in, by all accounts at there place the only difference between the sides was Billy sharp. They had a goalscorer we didn't and thus won 2-0. Both from sharp. We have improved markedly since then and I fancy us to get something. I'm not even taking the piss

Shrews could be the one to go. A mini revival in january and Feb has seen them pull clear but have they now took the foot off the gas too early?

Don't get me wrong, I'm very confident Sheff U will beat us - they're comfortably the best side in the league - but we have proven to be a different side under Shez (like last year), especially at home, and odds of 11/2 are extremely attractive..

We have scored 51 league goals this season compared to your 26. I would not like to watch your lot week in week out but at this time having a defence that has conceded less than a goal per game is more important.

Eight nil nil draws would make us safe. Unfortunately we only have two clean sheets all season so we have to try to outscore the opposition. We don't succeed often enough and that is why I am pessimistic

I actually think all round Bolton are a better side, certainly the best side I've seen against ourselves this year, so fair play to United for being above them!

We are just playing this in first gear and look knackered. That said how MK still have 11 on the pitch is beyond me after an awful elbow on Anton.

MK play pretty stuff but they are thuggish without possession. Some awful tackles.

Plenty of time for Sheff U to turn this around, but we are comfortably the better side so far.

Massive goal for Swindon too. Keeps them alive, just...

And as for Chesterfield....bye!! Shame though, decent little away trip.
