Chorley away on Saturday for Curzon.

Looking forward to it as going and is a new ground for me. Only 3rd away game tho season, but other two were wins.

Id hope we shall give them a bloody tough game. We have been top 7 form table ever since end of October and is only Stockport beat us comfortably recently......and even then we flogged two crucial chances to get an equaliser.

Tough game because we are at stage now where that top 6-7 HAVE to win and any slip up is possibly a killer blow.
Means pressure on them, just hope we go gung ho for a win, we don't seem to do draws anyway

No surprise to hear that Stalybridge`s huge game at home to Worcester on Saturday has been moved to Moss Lane, home of Altrincham.

Nothing on our site about that, though it's on Stalybridge's forum

Big Dave, we always find it hard against Curzon, I am sure that his Saturday will be no exception, hope you enjoy your visit to our very traditional old non league ground, but are not too happy with the result.

expect a good game as you have to win and we don't play for draws so will try and score.

Think we shall score so it depends on you getting 2 maybe 3 goals.

2 in for us, Emmanuel Sonupe a winger on loan from Northampton and Josh Webb a defender from Kilmarnock.

We've signed a player not required by Guiseley AFC. This is a new low. FFS. :ffs:

A Board update on the Alty managerial position is due out today, according to the press officer. Quite a few people on pins for this I think.

Mate if one of my uncles tells a joke that gets no reaction, he only has to repeat it once or twice in a louder voice before accepting no-one could be arsed in the first place.
Could do with relaying that advice to the self titled funniest man in the site :bdick:

You didn't read what Pliny Harris put. You keep giving B2TF a reaction if you don't keep responding maybe you won't get into willy waving contests with him. Just a thought.

Anyway Harogate up next for us, they seem to be on a decent run recently but we should beat anyone at home. Be interesting to see if either of the 2 new guys start.

Away to Gloucester for us tomorrow.

We have put together the couple of wins needed to move to safety. If we can start to replicate our home form away and win tomorrow I am confident we can finish well and reach 12th. Gloucester are a good side though and were the last team to win at our place back in November.

I notice on their website they have mentioned we have only won away once all season! I know we are shite away but we have won four (Brackley,Darlington,Stalybridge and Gainsborough) At least Give us a bit of credit!

Not earth-shattering, but the job is going out to external applicants, which is a relief TBH.
As if anyone else cares btw

Why wait so long?

With you all but gone months ago it would have been an ideal time for a manager to work pressure free on sorting mess out and rebuild for next year.

Instead you have wasted months for nothing

I fear we are now a hideously unattractive option to anyone but the most desperate candidates. A part-time club with no ambition, successively relegated, crowd numbers falling off a cliff, chairman under fire, everyone falling out etc.

In another year or two, no-one will remember who we are at this rate.

Ah I did read what he said, just thought it a tad ironic given his willy wanging 'everyone is shite and binpot' mate on here.

And I have no intention to not call them binpot - not doing it for anyone's laughs, just want I think they are thanks to his mate. Someone who pretends to be a bit of a :bdick: troll but actually he clearly ain't (or needs to go back to troll school) and just uses it as an excuse to post total dripping shite, given his own clubs unique recent past.

They are binpot.

Tyrell Waite's red has been overturned. Be interesting to see what happens to Finley now. Must have been a case of Waite standing up for himself after the alleged racial abuse.

Currently 2-0 up and completely outplaying Chorley.......in among 20 Curzon fans in an end with 200 p*ssed off Chorley fans.........not too safe as the quite drunk ones have raised a few voices and threats but neither set of fans moving

If Harrogate could score sitters they'd be 2-0 up. Thankfully not. Amazing set of scores so far.

3-0 up and Chorley have been horrendous.

Thought it may kick off in stand at half time but hasn't and now they will go other side.

Weird weird day........pressure clearly getting to a few at the top.

Question is will any of these top sides show why in second half
