Sounds like Barkley will be off. We need another creative player with or without Barkley, Gylfi would give us that from set pieces at least

If you're offered a half decent price for Barkley, you should snap their hands off. The guy clearly thinks he's far better than he actually is.

Salah finally completed, £34m. A lot of money, but hopefully Klopp will get the best out of him and he's still relatively young at 25.

£37m actually, so it's a club RECORD.

Pressure's on, Mohamed.

BBC specifically claiming it's £34m and therefore less than Andy Carroll.

Think it'll be money well spent.
Fucking hell Chelsea waste some opportunities.
Only problem for Liverpool is a problem we've had recently in signing African players cos the ACN is a right fucking mess in your season, especially if he becomes an important player.
Matip, Mane and Salah. Likely 3 of your first 11. Doesnt matter til 2019 though.

We know, Mane had taught us that particular lesson.

BBC are wrong.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/jun/22/liverpool-transfer-deal-mohamed-salah-roma

Roma are floated on the stock market and have to declare financial information and declared the very same figures used in the Guardian article.

Club record fee and world record fee for an African player.

The fee, which could rise to a staggering £43.9m with add-ons according to Roma, is a record transfer fee for the club, eclipsing the £35m spent on Andy Carroll from Newcastle United back in January 2011. Chelsea are due to receive a percentage of the Egypt international’s latest transfer fee.

Matip doesn't play for Cameroon (?) as he and the coach don't get on. It will be an issue with the AFCON, but one we could look at next season.

Salah is excellent value no doubt about it, and will turn the blood of defenders around the league.

Even at £44 mill its good business mate. John Stones was £50 mill ffs.

You've done well to get him for under £40m in this market, fees seem to start at £60m at the moment.

He might be one player, but he was arguably our most important last season.

We've "signed" Juventus's chief scout/head of scouting Javier Ribalta and are putting him straight at the top of our scouting structure.

He apparently has quite a reputation and is being described as a "big loss" for Juve.

Well they've had a great eye in the market for a long time now no doubt about that.

Means fuck all to you guys, but we've broken our record and signed Laurent Depoitre from Porto for £3.5million.

Expect that to be beaten with Mooy and beaten again with Moonie

That was already confirmed nearly a month ago, keep up.

Unless you had an ulterior motive for posting it...

Today marks some 30 odd million quid thrown at the spine of our side next season in Begovic, Ake and Defoe. Should be an instant upgrade on Boruc, Francis/Surman and Afobe.

In today's market that's some very good business. Defoe and Begovic will likely perform straight away and Ake is good enough and will only get better.

Aaron Mooy confirmed at £8million rising up to £10million to become our new record signing. Expect this to be beaten in the near future if the Moonie deal goes through. Which is strange because he was leaked last night wearing the new kit, but hasn't been announced now...

Why the hell have Barca re-signed Deulofeu! He was useless at them before and hasn't progressed at all at the various places he's been since. Not exactly the quality they need if they want to get back to dominance.

He's not too bad for a backup to one of the front three when Barca have to play one of the many banker games against La Liga fodder, though.

Like with a few of these buybacks they're buying with a view to selling. Most likely to a prem side or they think he's done enough at Milan to create interest that'll add to his value.
Bet a prem side would pay 20 for him.
