I wish they would have killed Maddison off instead as I find her quite unlikeable for a main protagonist. I thought Travis was becoming better and better so I'm quite disappointed with that too, but hey at least there are no weird talking scrapyard people and CGI deers eh.

Fear The Walking Dead has come a long way from its poor first season, I am starting to like and care about some of the characters now.

Plot progression is dependent almost entirely on characters acting like absolute fucking morons. The writing gets worse as the directing gets better. Episode seven of this season in particularly was maddening. How in the fuck would you not know that Ophelia was an inside woman? Why would you allow hostages to be returned? Why can everyone come and go as they please? And don't get me started on the finale. I'm not watching a fourth season unless I see that they've brought in new writers.

I didn't think the episode was that bad, it could of been better but it is still very much watchable and by the way that was just a mid-season finale, the rest of Season 3 comes back on in September.
I do believe however that the actress who plays Maddison and the people who write her need to step up a bit and try to make her better and more interesting because she is obviously the lead role, but she is an unlikeable character right now and that is funny because she seemed like the only character anyone thought was alright after the first season. Apart from that I don't really have any other issues with the show except for the odd farfetched scene that pops up.
The third season so far overall has been good I think and a massive improvement on the previous two seasons and it has also been very refreshing to watch it do well after seeing the awful seventh season of the original Walking Dead series.
Long may it continue.

I thought it was a good first half of the series. Thought all the characters they introduced were interesting and had a role to play in the main story. My only complaint really is when the soldiers turned in the ranch it was all over with by the next morning. Should have caused more chaos, but meh, they're still a bigger threat than what they are in TWD I suppose.
Overall, I'm more excited for this show's comeback than what I am TWD.

The last season of the original walking dead series was truly awful and that is because there was so much wrong with it like the bad acting, bad writing, bad directing, wacky new characters and even the special effects were terrible.

If anyone only started watching this show from last season they would think how the hell is it one of the most watched on TV right now? Well one time ago it used to be really good, now it is just some cheesy poorly written lazy sci-fi show.
Negan is just so fucking fake and such a lame character along with Jardis and king Ezikiel and his tiger. This part of the story seems fine in the comics but in the TV show it's awful and is all pretty much word for word, so lazy.

The guy who writes the comics must of been high on something at the time to put that silly shakesphere king guy in and as for Negan, why did no one just shoot him when he came out? For a leader of a large community he never ever has a serious moment, its all just cringy jokes.

I give up on Walking Dead a while ago but only continued to watch it for as long as I did for the same reason you've detailed here. But then I realised it was never really that good to begin with. Sure there were some great episodes but the majority of it was awful and most of the characters are some of the worst I've ever seen in any television show or film.

Right so the second episode last night was another terrible episode and even though it had a bit of a shock at the end, it was still full of problems and although Negan and the trash people were not on this episode they still had that silly King Ezekiel guy on who was once again talking like a lardy dar Shakespeare prick, WHY DOES HE HAVE TO TALK LIKE THAT?? IT'S SO ANNOYING, JUST HAVE HIM TALK NORMAL.
Man this show annoys me so much now, nothing makes much sense anymore and yet I still feel obliged to watch it.

Wow that was actually a fairly good episode I watched last night, such a shame the damage has already been done though with the previous 17 or so shit episodes there have been.
Just shows that with a few tweaks and logical thought put into it, they can make it a watchable show again.
