I'm amazed it's still going on. Must have been 2 weeks now this argument* has gone on for.

*pointless debate

They'll be kicking themselves when they realise they're rowing with the perplexing alter ego of a grumpy old man with a little too much time on his hands.

I believe salford are rebuildong there current stadium. Obviously pitch and utilities will already be there and due to modern off site construction it could well be ready in a matter of months. To be fair ive been to a few of these ex football league clubs and they have seen better days on and off the pitch, teams not as good as they were, nowhere near promotion and a crumbling stadium and poor facilities like going back in time. Can see why some mock village teams suddenly becomeing pro and going for football league but salford and harrogate are hardly villages. And whilst one person is very angry about bankrolled clubs they can do alot for community i.e. youth, women and senior teams instead of robbing it. Gateshead could well become a club breeding young players and selling them for a profit like sam jones and marcus maddison. Money rules even in non league i mean when was last part time self sufficient team to get promoted into league 2

Only a Halifax fan could possibly write a phrase like "seeing them get owned" and after seeing the amount of knuckle dragging, stone island wearing, spotty faced chavs that support them, it comes as no surprise. Sugar daddy, no sugar daddy, history, no history. Absolutely none of that matters. You would mull around in the league above until you inevitably got relegated, again. At least us a Salford would actually provide the league with 2 decent stadiums, 2 teams that will progress and 2 teams that would compete. You live in the past, whilst we continue to progress
Your "stadium" is shit pal, a triumph of style over substance, rather like your club. Have you ever been to The Shay? Hope you enjoy getting pissed wet through under your "covered" stands. :£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£

The new Gainsborough manager is to be announced at 5pm. Apparently its former Lincoln United and current Spalding United boss Dave Frecklington.

The problem is that the guy was probably still a Blackpool fan the last time Fylde played us at The Shay.

Yeah good old Crewe, apart from the years of child abuse. Lovely club.

It's B2TF beautiful mind in action again. Away from his own bin potting club taking money off unsuspecting folk, it seems it is OK if you have a multi millionaire owner who neglects a club like Chorley but wrong if an owner invests his own cash.

The expansion of fylde is impressive away from the big outlays..... their crowds, now the same as the bin potters fc 2008, should be applauded as too the old school beer and cig in hand approach to watching football. Don't particularly like Salford and their approach but they too are bringing non league match going to many new people.

You see we all love the non league, it's what we have been raised on and it is great to see it growing and that can be done in many different approaches by clubs. The main thing is that clubs exist and grow and not go bust leaving countless local businesses, people and charities out of pocket. #footballleaguedelsuionsofgranduer.

Shame is the self styled 'funniest man on the site' proves you wrong as he has bitten a few times now so is quite a good sport in itself outing the poor deluded so and so; that is when he isn't capable of delivering a response to being called out on the quite laughable situation at the Shay over the years. Taking money off innocent folk and now your council tax payers. Bin pot to our Tin pot. End of.

Yeah and the bar outside the ground apart, it's shit.
Fylde's has a better atmosphere than your council tax sustained has-been sheds of woe. Better food and booze, better fit of a ground than having your 1500 rattling around in TWO stands. As said can have a pint and cig in hand whilst watching a game. So shits on your place.

Oh and no 40 year old chavs pushing 8 year lads over after the game and then relying on the cops to stand behind and get all jumped up at a bus of 50 - sad c^nts.

Not saying that we have a good atmosphere, by any accounts.

We've signed Josh Ezewele on a permanent deal after a loan spell here from Yeovil. Done well here so I'm pleased with that signing.

Did a cracking job at Lincoln United last season and it was a bit of a surprise he decided to leave. Will be interesting to see how he gets on because I think I'm right in saying Lincoln United are two or three leagues below Trinity.

He's the Uncle of our ex-home grown midfielder and current Rotherham Captain, Lee Frecklington.

I see their chairman has been mouthing off on Twitter at the Lincolnshire Echo for their sudden interest after failing to cover their games.

You'd think a small club on their way down would want all the coverage they could get.

Two fixtures tonight -

Boston v Chorley
Alfreton v Brackley

Real chance for us to increase the gap from ourselves and the drop zone. Brackley have hit a bad run and we are playing well too.
Should we win tonight and Boston fail to win we will go as high as 14th for the First time since early September. Big incentive.

Not sure why. They're lucky Radio Lincs bother to send anyone to the game because many local radio stations wouldn't. They also get coverage in the Lincolnshire Echo, but that's not their main paper - the Gainsborough Standard is, so again, they ought to be grateful of that coverage. too. Like Boston and the Boston Standard.

He also mentions Lincs FM but even we struggle on there!

Frecklington doesn't sound like a retard so an improvement on his two immediate predecessors.

Alfreton 0-0 Brackley

Horrific game. Our pitch has been badly damaged by having so many games on it and its looking awful Cutting up and bobbling. Terrible.

We created absolutely nothing all night. Russ has built a solid base by tightening us up at the back. Which is great but Gainsborogh apart we look very very blunt up front and are really struggling in an attacking sense.

Brackley are a good side but fortunately for us cannot hit a barn door. They should have won by 3 clear goals in truth. Hit the bar twice and missed countless other chances. If it was a boxing match the Referee would have halted it half way through as we would out for the count.

We escaped with a point. Onto a massive game at Curzon now on Saturday

Cheers Alfresco and Boston. Those two results keep us in the playoffs with a spare game to chuck away if need be.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Big game for us this sat at home to Alfreton, but not confident at all.

I genuinely think 40 points will be magic number as I just do not see Gainsborough, Worcester and Telford getting 12 or more points......it is only 6 more for us, but we have badly flogged this season vs bottom sides, especially at home....drew with Telford, staly and Worcester, lost to bpa and Gainsborough.......that lot was safety if we did as expected and had we not seemed to win every impossible game the last few months we'd be 3rd bottom.

Its another good chance to get ourselves fingertips from safety, just have to now deliver when needed

We come up against a Chorley team that seem to have gone out of form, 1 in win 5 and that came against Alty. Although our away form is also poor recently, 1 win in our last 5 away games. So it will probably be another boring 0-0.

Stockport sign Sefton Gonzalez from Stalybridge

Cautiously optimistic about this one. Didn't score (or look threatening) during his first spell at County under Neil Young, but we were dreadful then, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought he looked like the kind of forward Gannon loves for his 'point attacker' role. Definitely looked better when he played against us the other week.
