St. Albans City 0-3 Wealdstone (Att: 563)

For the first time in god knows long, I can say that we deserved to win and the scoreline didn't flatter us. Saints looked shot of confidence and had it not been for indecisiveness on our part, we could have grabbed a couple more.

Joe White, Tom Hamblin and Danny Green the scorers. White's goal I thought was Green's straight from the corner but those behind the goal claim White definitely got the last touch. Hamblin in particular was superb tonight, great reading of the game, wasn't beat once and his distribution is far better than anyone else we have at centre half.

Good win for you.

St Albans have hit a real dip in form.

Won't get in play-offs now.

We have St Albans away after ETU at home. Our fixtures, on paper, look very kind to us. They're games last season we would have lost/drawn. Now we will see what we are made of.

Margate must be close to some kind of record now.
They have lost 18 games in a row, haven't scored in 8 games and only scored 5 goals in 20 games.

Anthony Cook's second goal on Saturday. Beautiful.

Keeper should have saved that in my opinion. Impressive win for Maidenhead at Chelmsford last night, still think 'Fleet will overtake them but the title race may well run into the last game of the season.

--------------------------------------------------

Wealdstone 2-1 Gosport Borough (Att: 670)

First home game missed all season as I've been in Berlin these past few days but I've heard it was another awful home performance. 'Gosport were worse than Margate' I was quoted so I can imagine the high quality fare on offer.

Two longest trips this season over the next five days - Weston-Super-Mare away tonight and then Truro away on Saturday. I'm undecided about travelling to Somerset tonight but will be on the coach to Cornwall on Saturday, complete with a 5am alarm call.

Perhaps, think he was just caught off guard to be honest with you.

Maidenhead away on 22 April is looking bigger and bigger by the game.

Did see a stat today that you've picked up 28 points out of a possible 30 since the turn of the year which is a phenomenal record. I decided against going to Weston tonight but we're somehow looking to make it 5 league wins on the spin which sums up how awful most of this league is.

I did also forget to mention that we're copying the Sutton and Maidenhead model for ST's next season - £99 for adults and £75 for concessions/pro club ST holders. Great deal and I'll pick up a couple if I can.

Yeah, we drew away to Hemel but won the rest of the games. We've only lost something stupid like twice since November. This is our best chance of getting out. Got the Saturday off for Maidenhead away, hoping to get the Sunday also! 9am start in the pub Saturday if so!

Yeah, that's a great deal! Fair play.

Why would you need to get two?

Logic was to ensure the club aren't completely shortchanged whilst using it as leverage to try and convince some friends or work colleagues to come down to a game knowing they'd get in for free. Really shouldn't when trying to save for a deposit on a house and the like...

Weston-Super-Mare 1-2 Wealdstone (Att: 380)

Joe White and Elliott Godfrey with the goals last night to ensure our 5th win on the spin. 40-50 Stones fans there last night, a doff of the cap to them all. Onto Truro on Saturday now.

Buzzing, love me a late winner when travelling this far. Joe White and Tom Hambln with our goals.

80 of us idiots down there, love me a proper away day.

Second placed team. ;)

Couldn't make it today, but sounds like another solid performance from us. Think that's 31/33 points in 2017 now and with two home games on the bounce coming up, you'd expect us to add to that.

Definitely going to be a close end to the season!

That is what I thought but then saw a table today (on BBC which said you were top!)

Anyway you did the job first half and played out time pretty easily afterwards.

Probably hadn't updated with Maidenhead's win against Chelmsford last week Monday!

After missing a shed load this season through work and a trip abroad at the start of the season, I should only be missing two (maybe only one) of the last nine. Pleased with that! Hope we can win it before the Maidenhead game, but I doubt it! It's going right down to the wire this one.

Top of the form guide but we've played dross in those 6 games (Weston excepted supposedly). Chelmsford next Saturday is the litmus test.

This season has all the hallmarks of Maidenhead winning the league, with Dartford beating Ebbsfleet in the playoff final.

The ideal situation is both Maidenhead and Fylde do an Ebbsfleet, you and Kiddy take advantage respectively, and then Darts and one of Stockport and Darlo take the playoffs (all with us staying up of course). One can dream...

Dean Rance has been suspended the last two games and we've scored 9 goals and only conceding 1, going with a much more attacking midfield. He's back for the game on Saturday, so you can bet your house on him slotting straight back in and us sitting back on a 1-0 lead.

Popped my Conference South cherry tonight and went to Weston-super-Mare vs Bath City which finished 2-1 to Bath.

Erratic game which saw Bath dominate early proceedings before Weston sucker punched them with a goal against the run of play. Weston saw it out comfortably until they had a man sent off. All Bath after that and if it weren't for Purnell in goal for Weston it could've been a lot heavier than 2-1. An Axel Andresson penalty and a scrappy goal after McClouskey had fucked up chipping it over Purnell but still managed to shank it past him and score anyway which got the deserved win for the Romans.

We've signed Jake Howells on loan from Dagenham as Jack Connors has picked up an injury.

Not sure what he's like now, but used to rate him when he was at Luton.

Depends how match fit he is, I thought he'd been near enough crocked for the past year?
