Ebbsfleet 4-1 Eastbourne. Crowd: 2000 and something. Our annual community day so a bigger crowd than normal expected, but not had a crowd below 1000 since November so our crowds are definitely on the up.

All we could do was put the pressure on Maidenhead. GD is 4 in our favour so a draw for them at Truro and 3 wins for us and it's ours. I'm not confident though.

Great second half from us today. The only thing the referee got right was their penalty. We were denied 2 or 3 penalties yet given a penalty that shouldn't have been. Fair play to Bradley Bubb giving it to Aaron McLean on his first appearance for 6 months.

One game at a time.

Hampton and Richmond Borough 1-1 Wealdstone (Att: 834)

Turned out to be a rather nice day in South West London and unbelievably, two pain free journeys on the M1, M25 and M3. As for the football, the first half was uncannily similar to the game in Ruislip; they pressed and we struggled to deal with it. Christian Jolley scored the opener for the hosts with a cracking strike, half volley some 25-30 yards out that Jonathan North could do nothing about.

Second half was a lot more even, Danny Green's corner being headed in the far corner by Ciaran Brown to equalise for us. Rock hard pitch didn't help our 5" nothing strikers when trying to bring the ball down when through 1 on 1 twice but a draw was a fair result.

Decent enough setup on my first visit to Hampton, £3.90 though for a shandy. Even if the lager was Cobra, that's theft!

Hungerford have been told they cannot compete in the play offs.

What a farce this league is.

Hungerford are trying to claim that 2 different stands connected by a small bit of metal makes it one stand

Is that Poole and Hungerford out of playoff contention now?
What will happen, 2nd place (Maidenhead/Ebbsfleet) straight into the final, or are 7th place (Hampton & Richmond or Weladstone realistically) going to be playing 2nd?

It looks like that. Both are appealing, but I'm not sure I fancy their chances.

Will be 2nd v 7th if it comes to that. Absolutely ludicrous, in my opinion, but hey ho! Third time lucky for us since coming down, really hope we do it.

Danny Kedwell has had surgery on his broken arm. Broke it in 5 places apparently, but wants to play in the play offs (if we don't win the league). Brave man if he does feature.

Thankfully we didn't have the 500 seats in by the March 31st so a side with only 53 goals scored all season and a -4 GD can't compete. That would have been a travesty and made a total mockery of the playoffs. Not sure why Darlo, Hungerford and Poole are appealing though - the rules were black and white and they didn't adhere to them (harsh as they may be).

2nd should be given a bye to the final in these circumstances but the officials at the National League will want their cut of the playoff gate receipts.

So it's looking like us (barring a miracle), Chelmsford, Dartford and Hampton? We've not beaten Hampton this season either, so that bodes well!

All we can do now is win our last three and hope Maidenhead slip up today as well as against us. Slim chance, but you never know I guess.

Will Chelmsford even compete with their current financial issues?

The whole thing is a farce.

Chelmsford will be fine.

Good news for you is that Truro will be battling for their lives to avoid the drop so it's not inconceivable that they get a point or three versus Maidenhead.

We're at home to Stortford today, our awful home record against their awful away record. This has all the hallmarks of a thriller...

It's all setting up nicely for a Fleet-Darts playoff final...

Ignore the above, we definitely had the 500 seats in place and the playoffs are on!

From a Maidstone point of view, we can't lose. If Ebbsfleet come up we get another Kent derby. If they don't, we get to laugh at them for another year. Dartford coming up would also be good.

Chelmsford coming up would be a big lose.

Nothing official yet but Liam Goulding and Josh Urquhart have both tweeted saying they have left the club. Interestingly the latter is being followed by a certain Mr. Tamplin...

They'll get nowhere with that prick as manager.

One of our lot who couldn't get a ticket has tonight paid £100 for one, that's how much it means.

Disgraceful of the guy (a fellow Fleet fan!) To charge him that though. We're all chipping in to get his money back.
