Well looks like the Pilgrims are going to get their 2nd win of the season ..

On the Quest show they actually said Plymouth had exactly the same record this time last season ..

So glad I didn’t pay for the stream and I’m not gonna lie, these last couple of results have been a little concerning.

It's the performances as much as the results, we were outplayed in both games, tonight against a side who've struggled so far this season. They're all young lads and they don't seem to have the guile or physicality to mix it with some of the sides in this division.

Oh well, go again on Saturday against another side who've had a poor start.

3 home wins on the bounce after beating Rochdale 3-0 which leaves us 7 points above the relegation spots :woot:

2nd half turned into the battle of the shithouses, Hylton vs Mcconvile which the latter definitively lost.

We got the key next goal through Shinnie
(I’ve maligned him at times but superb tonight) and then that allowed us to counter attack them which we did superbly all evening. Accy kept coming though so made a really entertaining game with some great melodrama going on off the ball in the second half.

Hylton obviously superb, his sort of game really but pleased he kept his focus on the task at hand rather than get overly involved in the niggly stuff which Accrington go a bit overly indulged in.

All made for great entertainment though and even though they have got beat 4-1 Accrington still looked a decent side

Crowd just 11k tonight. Gone down by nearly 10,000 in 18 months.

Can't be arsed anymore. Club is fucked from top to bottom.

Worst start in our entire history (11/15 losses).
Worst football league side in 2018.
Bottom of the league.
Ffs.

Don't worry u play us Saturday, if the game was at your place we may get something but we can't win at home for shit

We ran rings around Bradford at times tonight. Still not sure how we managed to concede those stupid goals.

Not a peep from Bradford fans tonight until the sending off at the end. It was genuinely identical to a night at the Ricoh. Empty seats galore and unhappy supporters.

As I said on Saturday, it's starting to come together for us. Chaplin and Clarke-Harris are forming a very strong partnership. Tom Bayliss is clearly on the verge of a big move away and is playing extremely well.
The squad depth is phenomenal. We had the likes of Jodi Jones on the bench.

You'll destroy them. I thought we'd lose tonight but I was so wrong.

Can't believe people actually think we're going to beat them. This is the most pathetic team I've seen since the Peter Taylor era. I can't wait for them all to fuck off into oblivion.

If we were playing in my back garden at the moment I'd close the curtains. Such a hateful team, not a single player I have any affinity towards.

Poor from Dale tonight, everyone’s entitled to a bad day at the office but I generally expect a bit more football from a Keith Hill side than that.

I’m sure they can play (and especially finish) better than they showed tonight, but on tonight’s evidence they’ll be in the relegation mini-league along with us.

Shame about that, I was delighted for Wimbledon and him as both an ex-Wombles and Watford player when they got promoted from League 2, and thought he'd go on to even greater things with you lot. Make sure you get a decent replacement and don't let the Dons take your League 1 place!

Thought Burton looked a very good side tonight, all the traits you’d expect to see from a Championship team - no surprise I guess. With that in mind it doesn’t feel like the worst result, though the start to the second half was bloody terrible. Matt Clarke and Ben Thompson continue to look far above every other player on the pitch. Not much to complain about really, on to Accy on Sat..

Fair cop to the 150 odd that came from Burton on a Tuesday too!

Well that turned out to be easy. First half I actually thought Walsall shaded it, kept the ball better, had some chances. Southend we completely disrupted by some bad looking injuries that added 10 minutes injury time to the half. Lennon has gone straight to hospital, radio after reckoned he's done his achilles, so we won't see him again this season.
Hopper, who would be a huge miss, is apparently just a knee strain. However, we scored a goal in the north bank!! because Walsall decided to do a Southend at home imitation and be absolutely awful from set pieces and crosses.

2nd half I don't actually think Walsall came back out, they basically did nothing and more awful defending from a corner saw Dieng score. After that Walsall just seemed to stop playing, it was like no one had told them how terrible we've been at home. Bunn may or may not have scored the third after his shot took some deflections. He played well, as did Mantom (as usual), Yearwood and Dieng.
If I'm honest I'm still slightly baffled as to how easy that was second half, Walsall had only lost once away before tonight and were 8th, must have been just bad day at the office.
The small matter of Sunderland and Barnsley away coming up.

A rare win and off the bottom! Ladapo at the double again, a glimmer of light amongst all the gloom. Can we build on this now or another false dawn?

Fairly irritating to drop two points at home to Burton but they're not a bad side and we were made to pay for a sloppy start to the second half. To be four points clear after a third of the season is still great and hopefully we can keep it up.

So we’re into the play offs for the first time and on a great run of form, stretching our unbeaten run at home to 14 games I think? We’ve also now played every side in the top half now I believe apart from Cov so I definitely can see us establishing a position in there in the coming weeks. This side keeps getting better and better.

So for the benefit of someone who is a long way away for work, what the fuck happened in the Accrington game?

I’m seeing accusations from a supposed BBC Sport Lancs based journo that Luton fans made monkey chants? I’m 7000 miles away and didn’t see a minute of the game and I know for a fact that didn’t happen. I’ve been to around 500 Luton games now home and away and not once have I experienced a Luton supporter levelling racist abuse (monkey chants) at someone, whether it be a player or another supporter. Luton has a proud history of producing BAME players and our supporters just wouldn’t let it happen.

The club also put on free food and drinks for every away supporter, and I see this was repaid with the Accy directors apparently calling for Luton fans to fuck off?

I’ve just seen a clip of McConville rolling around like he’s just been shot. I also see reports that he threatened to throw the ball at the disabled fans in the Luton end? Who the hell do this club think they are?
