Would love to see Bradford Park Avenue go back up -- Wonderful old club. I last saw them at Ashton Gate when Jimmy Scoular was captain. I reckon 61/62 season.
They need a ground first. Where they play now is dreadful.

My dad followed the original Park Avenue. To the best of my knowledge the NLN Bradford Park Avenue is playing at it's highest ever level and nothing whatsoever to do with the former football league club.

Attacking winger, quick & pretty skillful. Can't remember too much from him last season since he broke his leg not long after joining us on loan. Only had one or two chances this season 'n all.

I’d agree with the first bit. Doesn’t get as many goals/assists as you’d want from a winger.

He filled in at right back when Minihan got his long term injury and Cowan had to move to centre back, I think he’s potentially better there but he was never going to get in the team ahead of those two this season.

Its described as a reincarnation of the old club, so therefore a continuation.

Tom Allan has rejoined Alfreton on loan from York until January 1st

Absolutely delighted to have Mr Consistent Tom Allan back. Great piece of business.

How has he being doing at York? Any scope to the deal being extended

Unfortunately disappointed to see Dec Bacon has left to join Scarborough on loan. Hope this is just for game time and he returns but I fear we wont see him in an Alfreton shirt again

Oh For Fuck sake. Nuneaton find funds to make 3 additions before the big game tomorrow including former Red Ryan Jennings,

Fucking Lol. How much you betting he isnt a lazy sack of shit tomorrow like he was for us.

Frustrating how teams have picked up just before playing us this season. Not surprising though as we are vulnerable at the moment.

HUGE game tomorrow. Our 7 game winless run in the league must end.

Nuneaton have a pacy attacking threat, just not too strong at the back.

I like Allen and would of kept him, local boy not sure if has been given a chance but struggled a bit, saying that anyone partnering Bensheriff looks shit.
Would rather you’d of signed Josh Law.I would gladly drive him to Alfreton to get rid of him.

Tomorrow we welcome perennial overachievers Brackley to Edgeley Park. After the dismal draw at home to Nuneaton, we seem to have stepped on the gas with a 3-0 win against Chorley, a 2-0 away win at Curzon and a 1-3 away win at Yeovil in the FA Cup.

If confidence isn't at its highest it darn well should be!

That being said, Brackley always impress me when they visit EP and usually take something away from the game.

Hoping for a home win but with us you really never know!

Every game I've seen vs Stockport has been very competitive. Our luckiest win last year at home (perhaps our only lucky win of the season) was vs Stockport in the Trophy. We're not as good as last year - don't take our chances, and let in too many goals. So I'd make Stockport clear favourites for this one, provided you don't struggle to get up for it after Saturday. That said, we'll make it competitive. Can't see either of us going up this year though...

2-0 up and we f*cked it up. Not the only side to do that in this league today either...

Quality win today. We came with a game plan and let them come up to the edge of the box where we just crowded them out. Wilson was class today and deserved his 2 goals. Kiddy still like to chuck themselves on the floor all the time, some things never change.

Well that’s it new signing played well for 1 game, can we send them back.
Clear to see we are still on downward spiral, club is fucked.
Collins is so far out of his depth,Martin Gray was better.

I have no idea how we managed to drag a point out of that.

Both teams were pretty dreadful in the first half. Brackley started playing with more intent in the second half, and once they scored looked pretty comfortable dealing with our ineffective hoofball. We scored with a very well taken header from a corner in pretty much the last kick of the game. If Brackley had focused on getting a second instead of running down the clock I'm pretty certain they would have won today.

The way we've played at home this season, if we do get into the play offs I hope we qualify in last place so we're guaranteed away games all the way through.

I'm actually beginning to think we might just be contenders.

York weren't much cop, though their keeper was the best I've seen for a couple of years.

There was only one person allowed to be centre of attention today

The referee.

I'll say no more.

We've been the better team (if only marginally in some cases) in every game I've seen this season, but fuck it up game after game after game in one way or another. Just in the last 3 games that's 2 x 94 min goals conceded.. without which it would put us in 3rd 2 pts off the top. Could be a massive waste of a season this year.

Alfreton 3-1 Nuneaton

GET IN! Huge, much needed three points.

Not the greatest performance I have seen. We still have serious deficiencies and my god Billy Heath makes some strange decisions and substitutions.

Nuneaton were very dangerous and much better than a bottom of the table side, clearly playing with freedom and the shackles off.

Callum Chettle was fantastic. Cant think for the life of me why he hasnt been given more first team chances.

Nasty moment in the first half as Jordan Sinnott was cleared out by obeng before reacting with his arm. MenMeans another suspension. Our disciplinary record this season doesnt make for pretty reading,

Seven games without a win now suddenly a win on Tuesday night against Leamington puts us in the top half. The National League North eh?

Totally agree with CFC4LIFE, Kiddy want to pass the ball all day, but mostly sideways and backwards, We sat and waited for them to get to the edge of the Penalty area then took the ball and counter attacked, we were for once clinical with our chances, not a Wilson fan but he was outstanding today, also special mention for Jake Cottrell who looked back to his best today. Great confidence booster for Tuesday at Donny.

We were awful. Have been since the Stourbridge game. We won't make the playoffs at this rate.

Also shout out to our club for letting our best striker go on loan to York with no replacement coming in. Joke of a decision.

Penn was one of our only decent players yesterday. Was quite solid while the rest of the team crumbled. Looks to be a decent addition just don't agree one who went the other way.

County had the better of it first half yesterday, without ever really threatening the Brackley goal. Second half was a completely different story, as soon as they put some pressure on us we were at sixes and sevens. Brackley also showed up one of County's biggest weaknesses, with no real aerial presence up front we play it along the ground, they went very narrow which meant they could intercept everything.

The result hinged on an incident towards the end, Brackley lad kicked the ball away, Gannon goes to retrieve it and the Brackley assistant sticks his foot out, don't think he actually tripped JG up but it was enough to wind him up anyway; Gannon squares up to the feller who then goes down like he's been shot. End result, it gets the crowd riled up, and adds some minutes to injury time, allowing County to equalise at the very death, Mulhearn heading a corner ball from the near post to just inside the far post.

Definitely left us with a feeling of 'you got what you deserve'; however I'd say based on the game itself we barely deserved a point. Definitely need to do much better on Tuesday, we have to make our games-in-hand count.
