Dan McGuire from Blyth has signed for York, first signing in years that I’m totally happy with.

Alex Nicholson signed for Gateshead from Blyth - I think he might be that right back who you have it in for?

I would of been worried if you manager had taken him after coaching him.
Not sure how much McGuire will be on but certainly less than Parkin last season.
Watson has said he will sign 4 more, keeper, centre half, centre midfield and utility player and got same budget as last season.

Big signing for Alfreton as we announce the signing of Dale Whitham from Chorley. 69 goals in 364 games for Chorley. Impressive record. Hopefully that midfielder we have been missing for a number of seasons.

About 5/6 goals a season? I wouldn’t call it that impressive to be fair...

Dale Whitham is a decent, hard working box to box midfielder, he has had a couple of injuries, one a year or two ago that cost him the best part of a season, didn't work out for him last season at Chorley, but no moans, he is a good lad, will be good in your dressing room, a good all round player, hope he does well for you.

You've got yourself a good player DSL give him a run of games and he should perform. Last few seasons he didn't have as much game time, was in and out with injuries and new signings eg haughton and newbies. Went on loan to FC scored a few seemed to perform well, got much needed game time and came back, started the next game and had a stormer.

Darlo release top scorer Jordan Nicholson by mutual agreement.

There are a few fans kicking off about it but in reality the lad lives in Peterborough - it was barmy Tommy Wright bringing in so many midlands players to play for a part time North East club.

He's a tricky, skillful attacking midfielder with an eye for goal, so should get another club at this level quite easily, but he is also very lightweight.

In my opinion he's replaceable, probably for less money as well

As it stands now you'd have to say Kettering and Blyth look in trouble.

There are quite a few players missing on the out column for them as they lost some players to Ashton United.

Ben McKenna signs for Spennymoor. How many clubs has he had now in recent seasons?!
Good player who will score a few, assist with a few and play well more often than not at this level but there's still something lacking.

Elsewhere - Dudley to us permanently is now confirmed. Turned down a host of clubs from leagues above. Fair play to the lad, happy with that.

Agree with that assessment on McKenna - he blamed Gannon’s style of management for his average spell with us but hadn’t kicked on anywhere else.

Spennymoor must have given him some wonga for him to travel up there for training a couple of times a week - bit of a strange move all round.

Is a bit strange as they've already got Ryan Hall for his side, who is a better player.

One amendment to us though, we've signed Danny Livesey from Salford and not Martin Riley.

I've been trying to follow what's happening with Kettering, but their website and social media accounts are awful and giving news. Don't know if they're in trouble or their striker that left was an anomaly.
