Yikes, forgot about this place. Though to be fair, talking about Stones isn't something I've wanted to do much the last couple of years.

Decent start for us, and we actually walloped a team this week! Can't remember last time that happened.

Maidstone can thank their lucky stars that the game only ended 2-1. Ironically I thought the first half was fairly even despite us being 2 goals to the good but the second half was complete one way traffic. Sods law that Dan Wishart scored from Maidstone's second chance in the half to make the last 5-10 minutes a bit too close for comfort but we had numerous opportunities to kill the game before they even got back into the game.

Good following from the other Stones (250-300) and kept singing even when 2-0 down. I'm disappointed in the home crowd but all being well should improve considerably for the Oxford City game next Saturday.

Onto St. Albans on Tuesday.

3 points when the team didn't play anywhere near their fluent best, absolutely love it! Saints had us largely sussed I thought, compact the midfield when we had the ball and then get players out wide once they were in possession. Our ball-playing midfielders really struggled but we've got Lafayette up top as an option to go direct and have our wingers feed off his layoffs.

Wonderful strike from Danny Green to put us 2-1 up, looking forward to seeing that again on the highlights over the next couple of days.

Bit of a worry with Jacob Mendy going off with what looked like a groin/hamstring injury, fortunately we've got Jake Shepperd to come in or Connor Smith once he's back from his injury.

I've never seen the home end at Clarence Park be so barren, if the crowd was genuinely 805 then we had 300+ there minimum.

I'm awaiting the announcement in the next week or two that Bobby Wilkinson is the new Dartford manager, plenty of ex-players and football friends have been plugging for him on Twitter.

No objections from me if he does get the job, at least we'll know how a Dartford side would play under him when we go to Princes Park in the new year.

Came from behind for the 3rd game in a row to beat a good Dulwich side 2-1. After our poor start (3 defeats in a row) things are now coming together and we are scoring goals for fun. If we can tighten up our defence I fancy us to make the play offs again!

Scrappy 1-0 win against Oxford City this afternoon, given our awful record against them at home in recent years I was delighted to see that late Michee Efete header go in and give us the 3 points.

They came here and properly shithoused their way at going home with a point, granted Aston Oxborough had to make a great save from a free kick in the first half and Ross Lafayette cleared a header on the line but we had several opportunities to score in the second half before the goal finally came.

The referee was totally inept as usual, their time wasting only given as 2 and 3 minutes stoppage time respectively which was scandalous to be quite frank.

8 on the spin, never thought I'd say that. UTS!

Danny fucking Kedwell I can't wait for the day he finally retires.

Ever since our fans gave him a load stick 4 years ago hes been like a man possessed when he plays against us. Its pretty much a guarantee he will score and like clock work he did it again!! even more annoying he had only been on the pitch 10 seconds.

As for Havant they really weren't as good as I was expecting them to be to be honest. Why they had a lot of possession (mainly in the second half) and kept the ball on the deck they really didn't trouble our goal that much. I know that sounds weird considering they scored 2, but their first goal came from us giving away a stupid penalty on a player who was actually heading away from goal & the second from a corner....other than that Jake Cole only had to make one save all game.

Meanwhile if we actually took our chances we would of won that game with ease, heck we should of been at least 3 or 4 up by half-time.

Thats now only 1 defeat in 8, if things continue I might actually believe we can make the play offs.

Thought it was a decent quality game from both sides to be honest - Havant looked the better footballing side, but once Maidstone realised that all they had to do to cause panic was put the ball over the top and turn the centre backs that's basically all they did. An effective tactic, and produced 4 or 5 decent openings in the first half, as well as the goal. Thought a draw was a fair result in the end to be honest - Havant had a lot of the ball second half without threatening too much, but still managed to get themselves ahead, whereas Maidstone didn't really test the Havant keeper too much in the second half bar a cracking save from a header near the end and of course the equaliser.

Certainly an upgrade on the last Stones game I saw against Weymouth on the opening day which was pleasing.

Must admit I loved Keds coming on and silencing the children in the home end.

40 year old Jefferson Louis returns to step 2 level after 2 years away to sign for Hampton and Richmond. His 38th club!

Those ITK seem to indicate that he's been put on gardening leave. What's that phrase - 'fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.'

Good teams win games, come what may, and despite whatever happens during the match.

Welling will be somewhat aggrieved at the result as Stones won their ninth on the spin. First half they were all over us, more competitive and played better football. Ref was hopeless but no excuse. Had we gone in two or three down not sure we could have had many complaints.

Second half started off more evenly and then we made a substitution taking off a winger and bringing on a combative midfielder. Suddenly, for twenty or so minutes we were a different team and scored once from a corner and a second a beautiful team goal that had Barca scored it, the commentators would have been creaming themselves.

Still time for late drama as Welling were awarded a soft at best pen and into injury time, their forward had a one on one which the keeper saved. Decent enough save from the goalie but it should have been buried.

Eight points clear at the top now. Pretty close to being safe from relegation

I feel like Pinner Stones is underselling that 2nd goal - it was a thing of beauty from Lafayette, Green and Lewis -
0:20 in particular. We're that good right now - 250 there may be overselling it, but 200 is fair game.

Took our chances yesterday against Havant and now it appears our defence is getting its act together. Fair play to Havant they are a decent side and created a host of chances but we held firm. Our keeper saved his 3rd penalty this season when we were 2-1 ahead and if they had scored then maybe a different outcome but thats footie. In the play offs after 6 wins and a draw from our last 8 games.

Given (if you believe the rumours) that Bobby Wilkinson was close to taking the Billericay job last season, he's surely primed to take the gig this time around - if he isn't appointed Dartford manager that is.

I honestly can't see any half decent manager taking the job why Tamplin is hanging around like a bad smell. Specially when taking the job you will have to agree to playing Glenn's 16 year old son on a regular basis.

BW’s former chairman at Hungerford , and associate at Wealdstone, said as much on twitter. I know he’s desperate to get back into the game, but that desperate?

The 'club statement' has some veiled lines about current caretaker Jaime O'Hara being committed to playing youth players, unlike Wheeler.

If Tamplin is paying the managers the kind of wage he's paying players then I can see a lot of people willing to take the job, get a nice long contract, don't play the son and you'll get a nice fat wedge for doing sod all.

So in other words Glenn has fallen off the rails again and is off back to rehab for a few months. All the top earners will be shipped out and then when Glenn reappears again the whole cycle will start all over again.

This isn't the last we seen of Tamplin, he loves the attention to much to fully walk away.

A NL Club will surely come in for Rhead, although his apparent wage will be a huge stumbling block.

A quick look at Companies House shows the accounts to 31.5.18 (last available ones) reflecting total liabilities due of around £2m, up from 500k the previous year. The financial loss for 2018 was 500k and whilst the work to the stadium has increased the asset base, it is clear that he's financed that via loans not share purchases. Whether those loans are to him or third parties, isn't clear.

If those loans get called in, Bill N Diccy are buggered.

Has the club been sold? "Step down as owner" is nonsense unless Tamplin has sold his shares.

He 'stepped down' as owner before. Threw his toys out of the pram when they had a few hiccups in the Isthmian Prem claimed he was cutting all funding blah blah blah... within 6 weeks he was back.

No news on him having sold shares or the club to anyone else so he is still owner. He'll just be off to Dubai or back to rehab or something.

I think all the money owed is to him, he's had many a hissy fit threatening to call in all the money, he did put the club up for sale at one point, basically wanted his investment back. Surprisingly nobody was willing to give him £1.5M.
