I don't want to count chickens, but we are looking good for our fourth involvement in play-offs in five seasons, has anyone else achieved that feat?

We had an automatic promotion from this league in 87/88 then we five in six from 88/89.

Lost league one playoffs, won them. Finished mid table championship then 3 years in championship playoffs.

I’ll be modest and accept that for our next 7 seasons (including current).

Five in six is pretty impressive, though not good for your sanity...what is the chance of our paths crossing again in the play-offs this season?

Regardless of what happens between now and whenever the season ends for us, play-offs or not, being sat where we currently are has exceeded my expectations last summer by a mile.

Not very high if Mansfield choke.

Currently think table will finish;

Mansfield 82
Bury 80
Tranmere 80
MK 77

Everyone will or has choked, you could have gone 3rd had you not choked at Oldham for instance.

Case of hoping for the best.

Not so much an amazing stat but we have by far the biggest difference between home and away form in the football league. Joint 3rd at home with Bury and joint last away with Macclesfield. Also a +19 goal difference at home whilst were -18 away from home.

Some Uber negative ones from Vale... first time ever we’ve lost 12 games at home in a season.

Unless we get 4 goals in our last three games it will be our lowest ever goal tally in a 46 game season.

Grimsby seem to have been on the beach for a bit now

Colchester at 5/6 yesterday was printing money.

Added that to us -1 at evens....

Just looking at the home and away PPG's and Crewe have the biggest home difference (2ppg at home to 0.82 away). FGR have the biggest away difference (1.45ppg at home, 1.86ppg away) and Port Vale are the same (1.09ppg home and away)

Unsurprisingly, only two teams (FGR and Swindon) average more on the road than at home.

Mansfield and Bury average the most points at home (2.14ppg) with the next best Tranmere (2.09ppg)

Lincoln have the best away (1.91ppg) and us and FGR (1.86ppg) are out on our own by some distance in that respect.

We have only finished bottom of a division once in our history - 1961/62.

Since then we've been relegated 6 times, but never in last place.

Not sure how many of these are classed as amazing, and these are the only ones I can remember, but...

I think we only have 3 available outfield players who haven't scored this season - Wilson, Browne and Angol, although those three between them have hardly played.

We've scored in 30 consecutive games (25 in the league), stretching back to October (0-1 at Colchester) and since then we've only lost once (at Crewe). The 25 in the league is 6 short of our Club record.

We're 18 unbeaten in the league, which is tied with the current Club record.

We have the best away record in the whole of the EFL.

We haven't lost a game this season when we've scored first.

We've won the most points this season from losing positions.

We've won more, scored more and conceded less away from home.

You lost a couple of those over the weekend?

Yep, Carlisle stopped the unbeaten and goal scoring ones. Not sure on the EFL away record one, though. Norwich were second but they drew at Stoke.

I think I read that yesterday was the first time we've failed to score in two consecutive games under Cowley.

We hold the record for finishing bottom of the Football League with nine. Yet we're approaching 100 consecutive years in the Football League if we survive next season.

Not sure what it is now because I stumbled across it on Twitter a couple of days ago, but prior to today's round of games, and I'm not sure these are amazing per se, Tranmere have committed the most fouls in L2 this season with Bury and Lincoln being the most fouled.

Vale have been ahead in matches for less time than any other in L2 this season.

In 1970-71 season, Mansfield’s joint top goal scorer was a Rochdale full back named Ryder until the end of October.

We also didn’t score an home league goal until December of that season.

We haven't had a 0-0 draw all season, or even all last season, and there's only been one goalless draw at Brunton Park in the past five years.

So following on from that, we've got a 100% record for two seasons in games where we've kept clean sheets; and a 0% record in games where we failed to score.
Was a nice little bonus that we ended our season with a 0-0 draw at Yeovil, our first in over two years.

Watch us open next season with three consecutive goalless draws.

Adebayo Azeez who scored twice in the league (on Aug 11th) and 6 times in cup competitions (5 in the Checkatrade and 1 in the League Cup).
Love that little fact about Cambridge. There are worse teams in this division but can't think of anyone else who comes close to Cambridge for just sheer disappointment.

They've slid rather effortlessly into the role once filled by Hartlepool, and I remember when we signed Charlie Wyke from 'Boro after he'd spent the first half of the season on loan to 'Pools, he was still their top scorer for ages afterwards.

18 league games without a draw, going back to Cambridge away on March 12th.

21 home games without a draw going back to Bury on October 13th.
