Played quite well, worked really hard, switched off twice and that's the tie done. Spoze that's what happens when you're playing a team like Barca. I think we played about as well as we did when we beat Bayern 2-0, sometimes you just need to be lucky when you fuck up and we weren't tonight.

Looking forward to seeing how we bounce back away to Man United! Traditionally we do this sort of thing VERY well.

Cagey game and Arsenal tried to be smart; its just Barca were smarter on the night, and better. Had both teams took their chances it would have finished 6 - 1 (or 2) to Barca.

Those numpties who left early as well are symptomatic of Arsenal as well; they play nice stuff but are just a bit too fluffy when it counts and come a cropper when the big boys come to town.

Arsenal played well, I thought. Had a few chances and only gave away three or four chances or half-chances. The commentator was critical of Arsenal not taking advantage of Barcelona not putting in a "vintage performance", but didn't seem to realise the reason why it wasn't one.

Proud of Arsenal, the first 70 minutes the Barca front 3 were anonymous and pocketed by the brilliance of our back 4. I think we were lulled into thinking Barca weren't all that, then boom. Messi 1-0.

If that game was played another 5 times, the results would be different each time. Plenty of positives, no team in the league are close to Barca, we shouldn't fear any team in the league.

Remember to keep on cheering though boys and girls, we need our teams to at least make an account of themselves in Europe. Chelsea and City still very much able to progress.

Barcelona comfortable throughout the game and completely dominated without being brilliant, okay Arsenal had a couple of half chances in the first half but by and large they were poor, holding out for 70 minutes does not constitute a good performance. Sanchez and Giroud were particularly woeful. Probably the best thing for Arsenal's season.

Aaron Ramsey is a very good player in the Premier League, but he was shown up as an amateur compared to the likes of Iniesta last night. He looked like your stereotypical British workhorse, all lung-busting runs and no technique or finesse. We really miss Santi Cazorla's poise in the middle.
