Woking are playing on one tonight. Slaphead needs to do a Scott Rendell type transfer and become our groundsman.

There's also no one here.

We're playing Solihull Motors btw.

Eastleigh losing, just a bit too far from the relegation battle.
Scores not helping "Too good to go down York"

I don't think a coffin is needed, just a mass open grave for us to be chucked in at the end of the season.

On the bright side, when Guiseley stay up I get to chalk up one prediction I got right before anyone else, take that hundreds of incorrect predictions!

Well done Guiseley, could be right in saying that this is the first time they've been out of the relegation zone this season!

Cheers, I think you are correct. We started the season with seven defeats on the trot.
We have to improve our away results. Strange how we have done so well at home (unbeaten since September) but results have been poor away.

That was a really important win for us, especially with Guiseley and Braintree also winning. Strange game - we went ahead early on then sat back and couldn't put two passes together in the final third. Solihull didn't cause many problems and we finished the half well with Yakubu having a header cleared off the line.

Didn't get going at the start of the second and Solihull got a deserved equaliser. Then we started playing really well, GH made two subs that helped and we finally went back ahead. Ugwu hit the crossbar. The inevitable nervy last ten minute bombardment came from Solihull and Michael Poke made four incredible saves.

Solihull - Plenty of pace going forward, although they're lightweight apart from their centre-backs. We definitely had a physical advantage over them. They'll stay up.

Massive game against Southport at home on Saturday. A proper six pointer.

Guiseley look like SPENDING their way out of trouble it would seem.

If Guiseley have all this cash why have they settled for being shit for the majority of the season?

I've seen the core samples from your pitch, it's fucked isn't it? 20 tons of sand on it last night to try and dry it out wasn't it, our groundsman has been over and had a look, will take some work to sort it out in the summer.

Eastleigh haven't won in the league since mid-November away at Aldershot and haven't won at home since end of October.

Hopefully we see off another one of their managers in a couple of weeks time

Press them and limit their time on the ball and they are pretty ineffective. Good pass and move team if given the time and space though. Lots of new players in their team so improvement to come.

It really is a complete shambles. We've gone from having one of the best pitches in the league last season, to the worst. And for the amount of money we spend on it it too - I'm sure you'll have heard about that.

Is Martin Allen still there? Or has he gone back to Barnet, it's all he ever does.

Didn't go yesterday but apparently we tried to play passing football on an awful pitch and Liam Daly started a fight at the end?
Still ten points clear of relegation so got to keep our heads up, we are 'nearly there.'

Since when did a Martin Allen team ever play pass and move?!

Not the worst game at Macc, but home team shading it. Our players seem a bit unused to the formation, with about 4 players coming in to new roles.
