Well a win and a Fleetwood loss on wednesday night and promotion is sealed up. I personally hope Fleetwood win I'd much rather go up at an away game than a Wednesday night at home to coventry and winning the league at port vale would be quality too. I remember playing chesterfield 3 days after they won that trophy who were also in the same position as coventry at the time, I think that game ended 4-1 and I wouldn't be surprised to see the same scoreline on wednesday night.

So blades 4-1 coventry. Att. 23, 764 (378 cov fans). Fleetwood to lose at Oxford and 6 years in this fucking league is finally over at last.

Agree, theres also likely to be "after the Lord Mayors parade".
I'm expecting a flat performance from Cov
And a 2-0 Blades win.

I bought a ticket for this match last week but work desperately need me to work in Weston Super Mare this week, so will be sat in my hotel room listening to this match on Bladesplayer.

Will be there tomorrow with around 150 others, shame it isn't pay on the day as I'm sure we'd get a few extra after the high of wembley.

United always have pay on the day for home and away fans available unless it's a high profile match where they are expecting trouble, which isn't the case here.

I think SU auto make every home game all ticket for away fans because they want to encourage the bulk of away fans to buy their tickets in advance. Then every match they usually open a small ticket kiosk on the Bramall Lane end but it's usually manned with 1 or 2 staff, so it would be chaos if 100's turn up late to pay on the day.

These days clubs prefer tickets to be bought in advance so they can organise logistics, catering, stewarding and policing numbers but as I say tickets CAN be bought on the night.

This! We are always All ticket at Bramall Lane then the day before it gets announced you can pay on the day. Barnsley do the same. Puts fans off going as some don't realise but lets be honest if someone is stood there 20 odd quid in hand and there is empty seats why would they turn you away!

Yeah the club have tweeted this morning saying it's now pay on the day.

It's what we do all the time as well.

Starting XI suggests a few are still knackered from Sunday which is understandable, Thomas went off with cramp I think so hasn't recovered.

Game delayed until 8, must be 40k Cov fans outside trying to get in...

How the fuck is it understandable ate they incapable of playing twice in 4 days. It was always gonna be delayed queues have been ridiculous for season tickets for 10 days. We have to buy them before promotion so basically gotta get them before tonight unless you risk it

It wasn't just your average league one game though as it, it was a cup final they didn't stop running on a much bigger pitch. Half of them went down with cramp which never usually happens. Would have taken a lot out of them mentally as well as physically.

Yes I feel sorry for them they don't half have it hard in life.
