Superb from the bladesmen, Norwood has man of the match again, fancied that today tbf, our midfield are looking unstoppable at the minute.

Congrats to Sheffield United, they completely outplayed us from what I've seen/heard and it could have easily been more than 4-1.

We look all over the place defensively which is strange of a Bruce side, he usually has a solid defense to build forward from. Why the Fuck he is persisting with Jedinak at CB and continually playing 75% of our defense out of position is completely baffling to me. We've kept one clean sheet in 7 matches and that was against a league 2 team (a game we could easily have lost). Not good enough.

Wouldn't be surprised if he was gone in the next few days. I do appreciate what he has done in stabilizing the club after relegation for the last 2 seasons but if we want to kick on in this league, I'm starting to believe we need someone new.

We have some great attacking players that have been bought in (Bolasie, Abraham, El Ghazi) but we are not playing in a way that is going to bring the best out of them.

I’m currently on holiday but watched the whole match on ifollow.

Last week was one of our best away performances in ages outclassing Bolton 3-0.
This week was one of our best home performances in ages outclassing Villa 4-1.

Playing some really good, quick pass and move football where every player seems to understand their role within the tactics. Both results could and should have been bigger wins.

Probably the best 1st half display I’ve seen by SU in many years although to be honest I think Villa were due a defeat, they conceded early and heads dropped with no leaders. Talented individuals but on the day little team spirit and desire, the manager should be doing better.

Still early yet so both clubs have plenty of time to faulter or improve.

My only proper negative thing is not signing a striker and it still is, but if the midfield keep performing to that level we may not need one. Norwood has completely transformed us and makes us play how we did with coutts, wilders brought duffy back in too and fleck is at his proper best again now he has a competent man at the side of him. Thing is Billy Sharp is our only goalscorer if he gets injured we literally have no one up top who can score regularly.

Can't help but have belief with the team we have. Our defence has been woeful all season though, and will continue to be so unless we bulk up. We've pushed our luck so far this season, hence the had it coming comment.
