If it’s any consolation Bradford fans, at least it looks like you’ll get to use your day 4 Headingley tickets. :P1:

Can't believe that, 11 minutes off time added on! Whata game to win.

That boy Joe Mills, he scores when he wants.:woo:

Apparently it's all kicking off down the tunnel as well. Equaliser ruled out for off side in the 100th minute!

Exactly, so where's our supposed antics? You started well then it levelled out though you still had the couple of chances like the Gibson? shot. Couple of free kicks for us. Nothing out the ordinary.

Fouling doesn't excuse your time wasting from the first minute. It was blatant. 8 minutes added and a red card for one reason. Fair play you got the win, I just think it was unnecessary.

We were toothless, we could've played until next week and not scored. If you'd have put as much into the game as your timewasting you'd have beaten us comfortably. I actually thought when you got it down you looked pretty decent.

Mills' first yellow was for coming on the pitch wrong time which is surely as much the lino's fault. Didn't even seem that dirty a game, his head injury was an overhead kick and just unfortunate, now we hate each other apparently.

It just wasn't, we're always slow at getting it forward, home or away. That's a problem but it's not the plan. Honestly can't see it your way but I'm not going to change your mind.

We always take ages on everything, especially throw ins and goal kicks, even when we're losing.

I can vouch for this, FGR losing 1-0 at Blundell Park couple of years ago, 5 mins left and they were taking ages and then still passing it around the back 4 when the goalie finally kicked the from a goal kick.

Yeah who even wants to see a mad frenetic type of messy clusterfuck anyway.

Football is better when it's played at a nice, slow and relaxed pace with lots of accurate passes, nothing too stressful or exciting (apart from one brief moment when we nick a goal, ideally).

We do all that bar the accurate passes. Young Godwin-Maliffe had a few shockers today, see why he got subbed but he'll come good.

True, but our passing statistics are right up there. Udoka looked a bit rattled today, slipped a few times as well. Good sub imo. Dom is solid.

Dokes is only 18 or 19 so hardly surprising he makes an occasional mistake, who at that age gets it right every time...but I agree with The Jovial Forester, I think we have a really decent player already, and I think he will get even better.

Been talking to a few Bradford fans and they all asked if this is the way FGR play every week.
They were mesmerised that Woolacott could dribble to ball to half way line without being challenged.
They said that Bradford had no answer to system adopted by FGR and fell back whenever FGR had the ball.
They were complimentary with FGRs man marking and compared it badly to Bradford's zonal marking.
To a man they were furious with referee who even Mark Cooper said had a bad game.
Not the best of games to watch but Bradford were home team and should have bombarded FGR. They did not and paid the price.

I’m lost for words after today, inexcusable way to set up at home against anyone, a midfield worse of which I can’t think of in my time watching. Allowing consistently a goalkeeper to walk unopposed to the half way line without a challenge I just can’t forgive, more dross from Bowyer who continues to evade criticism. Again the attacking threat closer to parking the bus. To lose to such time wasting and little quality from FGR, O’Donnell in goal a spectator for almost the entire game, was deserving of how we played, well done on the three points.

we've come up against anti football and weak refs before but still can't deal with it. Need to learn how quickly this season for I for one certainly don't want to watch that every week. Reminded me of the tactics Cooper used with Swindon when he actually had a good team. Shame the likes of him get a job in football. Fair to say we will never see him as manager at VP or anywhere else with clubs who want success at playing football.

Neither team really looked like scoring 0-0 written all over it, till our lot switch off complaining at the officials giving an offside on the halfway line. Oh well you get games like this, frustration is the main symptom of being a lower league football fan.

The ref was a complete joke, rare you get both managers agreeing about that.

Typical Mark Cooper side. Timewasting from the start, feigning injuries, slowing the game down as much as possible. Horrible to watch.

That said, we were shocking, devoid of ideas.playing 3 defensive midfielders and no wingers.

Come on Bowyer, sort it, youve been given the players you wanted now. Time to start imposing ourselves in games, especially at home

Bradford let me down on my bet today, thought you were a certainty especially at home. Some decent players in that squad.

Cannot accept that FGR time wasted.
The Bradford fans wanted FGR players to throw ball immediately back into play even before our guys had chance to look around.

We weren't at our best, but we won. Sign of a good team that.

Bradford fans seemed to get wound up very easily, there are a lot of sides that will be far worse shithousers then us visiting VP this season. They need to get used to it. This is League 2.

Looking forward to Bournemouth, should give a them a decent game I reckon.

On the feigning injuries, you can see the Bradford lad do just that Winchester gets his (deserved) yellow, he's down and been clattered. is just about to get up then sees ref coming over so gives it a few more rolls around just to make sure. Very much par for the course but of course when the oppo does it it's crime of the century.

Yeah, and you’re doing so much better without him!
You’re right we are. He played first 3 games 2 draws and a 4-0 loss in the cup. Since 2 wins and an injury time loss, including a disallowed goal and hitting the post. We were 4 points behind you and are now above despite a first loss.

He can go score 20 till January and I still wouldn’t want him in our team. But I hope he does then maybe you or some else will give us a couple of quid in January to recoup some of our losses.

Now if you could stop mentioning us in so many threads as there’s no rivalry between us, and I don’t want to have to pay any attention to Swindon. Cheers.

Us? Just seems to be you mate not been funny. Didn’t you say yourself you watched our game against Grimsby and could see why we wanted rid of Doyle? He was part of one of our worst ever teams, and picked up a big wage whilst putting little in in terms of effort or performance. So of course we’ll have something to say on him, doesn’t mean we need his new clubs fans goading us at every opportunity as I can’t stand any of that team from last season, and with good reasons if you’d watched us.

You’re right. I could see why you wanted rid of Doyle. He was doing nothing for you.

Different player for us, though. 3 goals in 3 games and in 2 of those games we’ve played some of the best football I’ve seen since the Hoddle days - especially yesterday.

Mind you, it’s not difficult to look good playing some of the shite in this league. Just have to do it consistently.
