Not at all BM but that was poor. I'm sure they're better than that but, on that performance, they will struggle. It's not a criticism in any way. We're no world beaters but I think the standard of the Championship is better by some way, than the standard I've just watched.

Playoff final mate when are they ever any fucking good

Morison just said in interview they have ruined it for him

Can't stand him. Meant to be Mr Millwall and then slags the fans who've been there forever. Having a sulk making it all about him.

Wouldn't do it myself, but don't see the problem with it. Mood not killed.

Team as-is would go down next season, but I'm sure Harris will get some new bodies in.
Morrison said it killed the mood, or the quote was "they've ruined the day"

It's a bit daft let's be honest, still games to be played at Wembley this season.

Harris and Morrison were fuming which was quite telling.

I understand wanting to get them off the pitch so you can get the trophy etc but Christ, what's waiting 5 minutes to celebrate with the fans?

Millwall will get bad press again but in fairness they only ran to celebrate with their own players, didn't go to antagonise the Bradford fans or anything.

Oooo quick let's go and touch a sweaty man. Sounds a ball, especially when they're telling you to fuck off!

Shock the media are on that already, if it was anyone else it wouldn't make the news.

Thought Bradford looked pretty good, but it's all too slow and too much patient passing.
Good side but hardly any goal threat.

Millwall played a percentage game, knock it into dangerous areas and hope for the best.
Better strikers but a more industrial approach and it worked. Think Millwall seemed to be better mentally.

Close match but someone had to win. Well done Millwall.
Agree with the others, whoever wins the league 1 playoffs is instantly relegation favourites
However Barnsley didn't do too badly. Sold all their best players and still finished mid table.
So it shows the difference in standard shouldn't be over estimated.

I personally wouldn't run to a player but who really gives a flying fuck they did fuck all wrong , just happy they've gone up, standard English football fans some of you, the exact reason this country has pathetic atmosphere at football, all you ever wanna do is moan and be negative. Millwall had 28k there today all Stood up, by far the better fans and have done nothing wrong at all. I know which end I'd of rather been in

Anyone whose been to the new Wembley has to sit back and admire that pitch invasion, how they've managed it I have no idea.

Game was a bit dull but Bradford are a good side, Millwall clinical at the end. Aside from that Clarke chance Bradford didn't really threaten much.

Congratulations Millwall. That front pairing are always likely to be the difference in League 1.

I have never gone that fucking mental as an adult when we've scored a goal before. Fucking fantastic.

Genuinely do feel for Bradford, though. Unlike last season, there really wasn't anything in the game today. In the end, Morison took his chance when it came.

Reckon we can beat 23 points next season!

Just left Wembley, well done Millwall - we offered little 2nd half I thought. Perhaps a different game if Clarke sticks that golden chance away 1st half. We just gave Wall too many opportunities 2nd half to sling the ball in the box and one paid off.

Thought we did fine until we got to the area, then as per usual it fizzled out. Got to sort that next season.

Sorry - can't agree with some here. That's not 'proper fans' invading the pitch, idiots. Also saw some on far side, after they scored, trying to get over the dividing between the two sets of fans - can't you just attend the game and just support your own team?

Apparently fighting outside as well. Lovely.

Congratulations Millwall. I didn't watch the match and only got home in time to see the trophy presentation.

I can't comment on the match itself but it sounds like it was tight and who else but Morrison was going to get the only goal..? Mr "If-you're-in-a-jam-here-I-am". Players like that are priceless for any team.

I'm not surprised that the club players and officials were somewhat sensitive about the pitch invasion. Millwall's history goes before them and perhaps their officials and players wanted to let it be seen that they weren't condoning any misbehaviour by fans who, let's be frank, have a long established record of volatility.

I'm not against fans celebrating. Hey... they've just won a play off final..!! But get a grip lads, eh? Lots of clubs win trophies at Wembley and their fans don't run on the field. It's not approved of by the FA and it can land a club in trouble and they don't want that.

I'm quite sure it was only a celebratory thing and there was no malice intended, but Millwall - the club - will be aware that they're never a million miles away from getting into trouble with the FA where their supporters are concerned. Better to be safe and clear the pitch - and let it be seen that the players and officials are not condoning it - than sorry.

I'm sure the fans will enjoy the moment and celebrate tonight. And quite right too. Well done Lions. :2thumb::2thumb:

Perhaps if the FA didn't start blasting out Black Eyed Peas and other such shite at an ear piercing volume as soon as the final whistle blows in a desperate attempt to make any trip to Wembley as joyless corporate affair as possible, fans wouldn't be forced to find their own more entertaining ways of celebrating a win.

Fair enough, hadn't seen that.

The ones that have done that are clearly fuckheads, imagine winning a play-off final and your first thought is that. Embarrassing.
You know how it is, the dipshits always come out for our big games and aren't seen again until the next one. Can't imagine them going up to Burton on a Tuesday night.

In the post match interview Stuart McCall (who is always a classy respectful man) complained that some of the Millwall fans came on to the pitch and ran towards him and his players to gloat. Said he did really well to control himself and not react.

That's the problem with pitch invasions, you're tempting fate as there's ALWAYS A RISK.

Most pitch invasions are fine but losing in a playoff final must be the worse kind of defeat and to see oppostion fans taking the piss gloating shows a total lack of respect, so there's a high chance individual outbreaks of trouble that could then lead to large scale crowd disorder.

Pitch invasions seem to be becoming more common and I'm not sure what the answer is.
In special circumstances then I totally accept why a pitch invasion should happen, still remember the legendary scenes of Ronnie Redfords goal for Hereford against Newscastle in the FA Cup.

If you haven't seen it then YouTube "Ronnie Radford", now that goal deserved a pitch invasion, it's like a scene out of the film "Escape to Victory", even I would have been on the pitch. ha ha.

I think it is something in the water. My dad 'celebrated' VE Day in 1945 by having a fight in the semi-circle at Cold Blow Lane! If you met me you would never imagine I'd have a fight anywhere so its not an inherited thing.
