Our biggest game in years. Incidentally 5 years to the day since the last time we got relegated; hopefully not a sign of how things will go on Sunday. Essentially we need to win as I can't see past Forest picking up 3 points at home to Ipswich, would be quite nice to score a few too to ensure a better GD than Forest in the event of both of us winning. Unfortunately I can't see us pulling it out of the bag and we'll draw 2-2 to seal our fate.

It'll be judgement day for us. I said a couple of years ago that if we didn't go up when we had the likes of Jordan, Rudy and Tom Cairney we'd be in the state we are in now. It's been on the cards from the start of the season when we got thumped by Norwich at home and Shane Duffy was rattling in the own goals for a few games. Whilst I think we'll do our upmost to try and win the game tomorrow it will be all too much against a good Brentford team. I agree with Roversfan2001 and think it'll be 2-2.

Luckily for you guys we're missing 3-4 of our starting XI through injuries, otherwise I'd be pretty confident of a big home win (we've been in insane form at home of late). We won't be playing a weakened side, but injuries are going to force us into a few changes.

Why did Cairney only go to Fulham given he was rated so highly whilst he was at Rovers?

Would be funny if Blackburn lose 1-0, but Forest lose 3-0

The Blackburn fans were superb yesterday, drowned out the very rare Brentford chants, though I'd imagine it was tougher for the latter to get up for a meaningless game on their part. I felt for them at the final whistle as they experienced every up and down throughout the afternoon - being confident in staying up after they led 2-0, to being quietened by Forest and City, to conceding and finally being given hope after Emnes won them a penalty. Going down on goals scored must be a bitter pill to swallow.

Enjoyed Griffin Park, it feels like you're pitch side no matter where you are on the ground. Nice area too, may come back again next season for a more meaningful Brentford game.

Glad you enjoyed Griffin Park - definitely worth coming again soon as it won't be around for long! The Blackburn fans were fantastic in the first half yesterday, understandably muted a bit after Forest also scored, but it was the best I've seen from some away fans in a while.

We were pretty quiet, the game not meaning much and our team not really putting a whole lot of effort into it made it hard to get much of an atmosphere going, but yeah, it wasn't a good atmosphere from us yesterday. Only really when Macca came on did much of a loud volume get going, and not for very long!
