With Bristol City on a one-way ticket back to League 1, are you looking forward to playing Rovers again next season? Suppose its dependant on if they come up via the playoffs, big if though.

Doesn't phase me, it's been nearly 17 years I think they've been through enough.

Could be a lot worse I suppose, I could sound like you.

So still the clueless clown remains. I cant see myself attending next season if LJ is kept on and we go down. To be relegated after this level of investment and off the pitch progress will be a complete inexcusable f**k up of epic proportions. People need to vote with their feet at the way this club is being run and I will be one of them unless something is done. Lansdown and Ashton can take their League 1 football, their darling golden child LJ and corporate Bristol Sport model and shove it up their behind.

Are you back in the UK for next season then Luke?
While I can see SL being loyal to his man, it's gone too far now. Hopefully, the rumours are true and LJ is being relieved of his duties but is staying on for the hammering on the Toon. I won't slag him off personally, as some on other forums have done, as I don't know him. I wish him well wherever he ends up as he just wasn't ready for Managing at this level.

If true pemberton and Holden are on their way out with Johnson I can see them all being kept around til we've found someone to come in, what's the alternative, McAllister doing U23's and first team duties...?

Ranieri syndrome, if you're lucky.

There must be something in the M4 air that prevents useless managers from getting the heave-ho.

Likewise, there's not a chance I'll be renewing if we go down. 14,000 season ticket this year, he's going to undo all the clubs good work off the field as they'll struggle for half of that in League One next season.

I won't even be there any more this season as it looks like LJ is staying. It's because I love the club that I can't bear to watch this useless individual killing it. My SC can stay in the cupboard.
I had a ticket for tomorrow, not going, one for Tuesday, not going etc etc.
I just cannot watch it without getting irate and now Lansdown has told us we're not to criticise.
Bollocks Lansdown, utter bollocks!

Tell ya what boys only time in the last 30 years I didn't have a season ticket was 2004/05 I vowed not to renew unless Chris Turner was sacked, didn't attend a league game until October....he'd been sacked the week before.

Had one since 1975 Walkley and this will be the first time I won't have one since I was 6 years old. It's THAT bad!

Lansdown made a lot of horrendous managerial decisions in the past as well, but he's now appointed a footballing man in Mark Ashton and he seems to have struck gold with Lee Johnson.

Villa supposedly have identified Bruce and Johnson as their top targets to replace RDM. Good luck with that

It's not really anything to do with his tactical decisions, we've just been shite infront of goal recently, whereas earlier in the season every chance was falling to Tammy and it was hitting the back of the net.
:pond:

I won't back the ownership through nonsensical decisions and pretend that I agree with them for a show like you did with Rowett, El guapo mate.

You're really enjoying this aren't you El G?
Why the anti BrCFC feeling? :(
He's trying to get a bit of his own back because he's been made to look a tit by many on these forums over the last few months with his comments about Rowett, Zola and such.

bit of info for you all. as I think I've stated on this forum before [think] my ex missus was a wurzel that I met on a student night out, we split up etc etc, don't speak to her anymore but am still friendly with her brother, who now lives fairly locally as well.

gets a fair bit of inside info, was keeping me updated with the josh brownhill and Greg Cunningham situations in years gone by, and he reckons lee Johnson is a dead man walking. already been sacked, confirmed next week, which agrees with reports ive read.

Worth passing it on, hope its the news you all wanted 2 hear and most importantly I hope its correct.

Who have I been made to look a tit by?

I said right at the beginning that I was underwhelmed and sceptical with the appointment of Zola. We were becoming stagnant and stale with Rowett. It is a fact that he was seeking out other clubs. The football has been better with Zola but ultimately it is a results business. We’ll ride it out and will look at our options in the summer.

We live in hope PNE that you are correct, however SL is coming across as a man who will back LJ no matter what

Thanks Mynx. That story has hit OTIB as well and the link also came from Preston via Bailey Wright.
Johnson has gone to Newcastle with the team and he's been backed, unbelievably. I hope your information is correct, obviously.

Understandable if Pemberton and Holden are leaving too as there wouldn't be anyone to take the Newcastle game.

Can you blame him? A young, promising manager that was presumably on a poverty wage under the paupers that used to own you, being sought out by bigger clubs that would offer more money both as a wage and to work with? You'd do exactly the same.

Hopefully you'll be stuck with Zola, can't see the owners dismissing him that quickly; they'll make Birmingham look even more ridiculous than they already do.

Hope that's true, interestingly enough a Lancashire based City fan on OTIB is saying similar, so we shall see.

Whatever he was on, he agreed to it.

He negotiated improved terms on his contract after speaking with Fulham, so lacking integrity is another trait of his.

You have said that I have been made to look a tit by 'many on these forums'. Name them...

You have, several threads where you've discussed Rowett and have ended up looking a tit.

I won't name them, go and find them, you clearly have nothing else to do with your day. You know where to look.

It's funny isn't it, with Ranieri going the whole of football seemingly up in arms over the sack happy culture of the modern game and we've got the one owner who seems to want to stick by his man through a bad run, and we're all outraged
