Big game for Bristol City this, and one I think they really need to win. Wolves have won 5 out of their last 5, and we look a completely different side than we have for the first 3/4 quarters of the season. Bristol City got a good 4-0 win vs Huddersfield, although they many bottle job performances inbetween. Reading on here they seem devoid of any confidence, and Lee Johnson doesn't seem like the most popular guy in town either.

As for team news, Costa was injured in the warmup vs Forest and is 50/50 for this game. Ikeme is also rated doubtful. Also Ben Marshall, and Dangerous Dave have been brilliant of late, but they both really need a rest. Suppose you can add Lee Evans to that too.

Ikeme/Lonergan

Coady - Batth - Hause - Doherty

Saiss - Price

Dicko/Costa - Cavaliero - Bodvarsson

Weimann

If Johnson stays, 0-4 or 5 and I genuinely won't give a shit.
If he is finally sacked, we'll give you a game with a loud and partisan crowd reunited by the sacking of the poisonous little prick!
Fill your boots.

FFS Mark mate don't torture us, we haven't forgotten about last night yet, let alone thinking ahead to the mauling we're going to receive on Saturday.

You getting the train into Temple Meads? If so your best bet is the Knights Templar which is a big Wetherspoons right outside the station and then heading back over to Temple Meads at about 2 for a very cheap taxi to the ground.

Closer to the ground, anywhere in Bedminster really mate. There's a big Wetherspoons there as well, and plenty of other pubs to choose from where you'll have no bother.

You've also got the waterfront in the city centre with a wetherspoons and a few other bars. It's only a 5/10 minute taxi journey from the ground if you go along hotwells road.

Enjoy the day out, I'm sure you'll enjoy the result too.

In all seriousness Mark, as long as you avoid the pubs right next to the ground (Rising Sun, Coopers), you'll be fine. The cottage on cumberland rd is very nice, right on the river and a very nice spot if the sun is out. Nearer to the ground, the tobacco factory, the Nova scotia and the Mardyke are all friendly enough with home and away fans mixing nicely.
Bristol's the same as any reasonably sized city, have a beer and a laugh and you'll find it will be reciprocated, shout your head off and turn into something off green street and you'll usually find like minded people. I can't imagine you're f that ilk anyway.
If you head for the Cottage and want to try our proper 'apples' , just down the road is the orchard, be careful though, the stuff can render you unable to walk rather quickly! Head for the SS Great Britain (signposted) and they're both very close. There's a car park there too, £4 all day.

Thanks guys. I'm heading up from Exeter for the game, think the train gets into Temple Meads for around 12. Looking forward to trying some of the cider i hear all about :).

Also I hear there is a KFC near the ground as a last resort

The last visiting fan I took in the orchard didn't actually make the match. You can't say you haven't been warned!
It doesn't taste as strong as it is, that's all I will say.
Watch out for old rosie and Katy, delicious but they eat your legs! ;)

Lambert won Manager of the Month. So that's three points for Bristol City then, Helder Costa and Weimann will be sent off, Batth will pull a muscle in his wallet and Wolves fans will be left wandering around Horfield in the darkness asking where the ground is. That's just the way it is when you win MotM.

If you go through, or get lost in Horfield, make sure you have a bath before crossing the city please!
I will be playing golf, actually enjoying my Saturday for a change, then sitting on my fat arse to watch how it should be done.
As for the 3 points for City? You're having a laugh, we couldn't beat an egg let alone the form team in the league! PNE supporters, on their forum, said we're worse than Rotherham now. Easy, easy away win. :sur:

Actually really wanted to get down to see this one. And I'll be at the in-laws near Frome today as well. Work means I can't get to many matches now. I've spent five of the last seven weekends in Malaysia and Singapore.

Good luck this afternoon. I can see this being 0 - 0. You've got a lot to lose right now and will be set up not to concede anything. We're more or less safe now but can't make playoffs unless Sheffield and Reading get wiped out by an alien species of disease-spreading amoebas. But enough about Forestieri.

That's a coincidence, I'm in Frome myself. Playing Orchardleigh at 12. Never played it but it looks tough. Nice though.

Lucky you. I have to drive over later. The dreaded A34 then the shitfest A303 with tourists gawping at Stonehenge from their rented Focuses (Foci?). What a waste of a sunny day. Frome. Twinned with Murrhardt and Gomorrah.

Got a spare in the home end if you want it?

I hope not. We need to take the game to you and look to play high up the pitch or we've got no chance. But if we do we've got a shot despite your excellent run, can still beat anyone in this league on our day.

And markwwfc1992 my wolves prediction not looking so outlandish now, eh?

Very tempted by that but we haven't set off yet and I wouldn't make it there by 3pm. Also did that once at Charlton with an old mate who then told everyone in the stand that I was a Wolves fan and to keep an eye on me if we went ahead. Fortunately, it was a draw and they scored first.

That's a nice surprise to see the result. Well done boys!
Still want the pillock out but I gather Lansdown said some naughty things on the radio judging by the texts I've received. Something about 'stuff the fans, I'll do whatever I want' or something?

Poor performance from us today, we really missed Cavaliero and Costa. Ikeme in goal seems much more stable than Lonergan too.

Bristol City impressed me and were very deserving of 3 points. Our season is over now, and I'm relieved we are safe. I hope/think Brizzle will be safe too, they are too strong a side to be where they are in the table.

Quality day out in Bristol, nothing like a few pints in the sun :)

Nice comments, though I wouldn't say we were that good ourselves tbh, just as I alluded to in the other thread you looked a side already on the beach, which I suppose you've earned over the last month.

Proper scorcher weren't it, burnt to a crisp sitting in the Dolman

I pray the rumours about Wolves in north street are wrong. I heard there was a big punch up but the forum is reporting someone was kicked to death.I really hope that isn't the case.
I was told a couple of Wolves fans were rushed to hospital, one with serious head injuries but I genuinely hope he's ok.
