I pray the rumours about Wolves in north street are wrong. I heard there was a big punch up but the forum is reporting someone was kicked to death.I really hope that isn't the case.
I was told a couple of Wolves fans were rushed to hospital, one with serious head injuries but I genuinely hope he's ok.

Jesus, really hope it isn't true. Can't find anything about it online though?

It's on OTIB mate. From what I've heard, the road is still closed and forensic officers are there, even at this daft hour. Something's happened but let's hope this chap is ok.

That doesn't surprise me, it was all kicking off on Ashton Road and North Street when we walked through, was the worst I've seen it since we played The Gas. Can only assume people had been drinking in the sun all day as we had, not that it's a justification. Hope the rumours aren't true but we go into the Masonic before every game and one of my dads mates was in there afterwards and reckons the bloke was in a really bad way. Sickening really.

I'm glad to report that the 2 Wolves fans involved are on the mend and should be released from hospital in the next couple of days.
This has come from the police liaison officer on our official forum.
2 of our lot have been arrested from CCTV evidence.

By the sounds of things they are not on the mend. One with bleeding on the brain, the other with a leg broken in three places. Not heard how it happened yet, whether instigated, or unprovoked.

That's dreadful news David. Please excuse the duff info, I took it from the police liaison lady on OTIB. :(
