Top half Bristol Rovers face a Scunthorpe team that have hit some poor form and are looking for their first win in 5.

Rovers are currently 10th in the table and are only 4 points off the P/O spots with 13 games to go.

Our home form remains strong. 5 consecutive wins, followed by draws against high-flying Bradford and leaders Sheffield United. With Scunthorpe's poor form and our suddenly strong defense, I'm optimistic of a victory. However, with Scunthorpe's undoubted quality, I would be more than happy with a 5th consecutive draw.

I fancy us to get off to a fast start & score early. We will then romp to a 0-3 victory.

Our bad spell is finshed.

Solid point all things considering but no wins in 5 now, not good enough really.

Deadman has apparently admitted that we should have had a free-kick before Rovers goal, not really getting much luck lately.

You got plenty of luck, in that we brought on the useless one that is Ellis Harrison. Set up your goal with a beauty of a pass.
Scunthorpe were pretty crap IMO. They will be delighted to come away with a point. Can't see them going up TBH. 4 shots and 40% possession says it all.

It's going to be one hell of a game next weekend, plenty of comments to come later in the week !

Cannot believe we drew that. It was daylight robbery, only we invited the burglar into our house and passed them the jewellery to run away with.

I don't rate Ellis at all - I think he contributes nothing - but he exceeded himself today with that 'back pass'. Absolutely awful and the own goal at the end of it summed it up perfectly really, because Scunny offered little and never looked like scoring themselves.

We'll continue to be nearly men for as long as someone within the team continues to make mistakes like that. I think we have the basis of a really good side and with the right recruitment in the summer (a whole new strike force please) we'll be in amongst in next season, but we are definitely not ready for a real play-off fight this year.

Can't see them going up? So you are basing the whole season what you saw in 1 game. How stupid can you get?

Rovers lost 5-1 at HOME to Charlton, yet a few weeks later beat Northampton 5-0. So how do you assess that? You are going to be champions and then suddenly you are going down. It doesn't work like that does it.

Scunny are 2nd on merit. We have played really well until the last half dozen games. We are having a bad patch, as all teams do. We will get through it and, I believe, will still get automatic promotion.

The fact that after the self-inflicted equaliser you could have won it despite looking poor shows why you're up there. Maybe a bit low on confidence right now, because after the goal you looked very threatening. Just need to turn it around I think.

Christ. No need to get like that. I simply made an observation. Based on that game, I can't see you going up. Your poor form at the moment suggests that Saturday's performance wasn't a one-off. No need to call me stupid.

Saturday wasn't a one-off, but every team has a bad run. That said, we have played some exceptional football this season and scored a lot of goals. I believe that we will come good again soon.

By the way, it was a stupid thing to say.
