Seem to be BT Sport's flavour of the month right now, having been on the same number of times in around the previous 4 seasons this season!

But we were meant to be playing Barrow that evening

Talk about having the rug pulled from under us, what a joke of a league this is :hb:

How can one league game be postponed so that a different one can be moved to the date just for TV?!!!

Maidstone Dover apart - a shit selection. Not a lot of northern action either (akin to the BBC going all weak kneed now at anything north west) and BT only partially seem to get the notion of decent derbies. Uninspiring.

BT can only show each team 6 times during regular season, so they'll be holding back our remaining 2 for the run in.

Our second time on this season, which is two more than last season! Probably cos we're not shit now either.

Should've got the game on originally instead of saving yourselves for the cup... :2thumb:

Played very well against us back in September especially when you got it wide and knocked it around instead of just lumping it forward.

No they don't as Gateshead have not been on southern bias sport since December 2014. Pity it ain't a home game but maybe in 2 years time now but have remembered they exist

I’ve never understood why people clamour to have their home games on TV, surely it’s just an inconvenience? Our lot are terrible for it, constantly whining that we aren’t on when they plan to go to the game itself anyway.

I go to every game so hope we’re never on as it’ll only mess me about. The money you get for it is pittance as well.

4000 pounds 230 paying supporters not coming would wipe this out.

Not seen this mentioned anywhere else on the forum but all the games on the last day of the season will kick off at 12.15 so that they can be covered by BT. I don't envy the Dover fans having to get to Barrow for such an early kick off

You would have thought the Conference would have seen this coming and planned more local games for an early/late KO. We're at home to Braintree which is fine, but Dover going to Barrow is crazy!

Do we expect anything else from BT? They never showed Gateshead v cambridges top of the table clash in 2014 but someone near bottom instead

BT won't show Gateshead at home because your ground is an awful place to watch football and it'd look awful on telly.

Can't for the life of me understand why the league didn't give more local fixtures on the last day of the season if they planned to do this. Will have to leave about 4am to get to Barrow in time for KO

Load of crap. Gateshead fa cup games and play off games on were on BT. Other just overlooked in league. I suppose some of the ramshackle grounds in the league by have filmed games at are pleasant to see on TV? It's southern bias. I don't care how good or bad a teams ground is they should be shown at home at least once in a season

We`re at Maidstone which is a bad enough trip to make for a 3 o`clock kick off let alone this stupidity. Now it either go down the day before or at 3 in the morning. Nice to see fans of National League teams are held in the same contempt as those of Premier League clubs. At least we have that in common.

Why should everybody be shown? It's a business not a charity. Why should they show crap games at a crap stadium that nobody will watch when they can show Lincoln v Dover which will draw in a huge TV audience around the country?

Sky gives every team ago and shows them at home at least once.its called fairness. Anyway gatesheads international stadium is well appointed and such grounds are common place on the continent. I seem to recall BT showing something like Southport v Solihull or summat like that midweek. Hardly going to be big draw either

I'm disgusted that Gateshead haven't been shown on BT Sport.

Gateshead's ground is fine, much better then a lot of grounds in this league. That isn't the reason they aren't shown.
