Burnley have to stop the rot and although Bournemouth are in a rich vein of form I'm sure they know this is going to be a tough game. Very easy to see Bournemouth scoring of course though, so a draw looks favourite.

Burnley 1 Bournemouth 1

Well for half an hour that looked decent. Then we totally lost the plot! Long way back now. By the end of that half we were struggling to complete 10 yard passes let alone cause Burnley any problems.

Burnleys crowd are well fired up for it singing about Howe, their players are throwing themselves at everything, and we look a bit lost so far.

Burnley continues to be a bad ground for me to visit! We got ourselves in a right mess today. Picked the wrong midfield, missed 2 - 3 good chances to take the lead, utterly lose the plot just before half time. Then make a bunch of poor tactical / positional decisions trying to force a way back in, miss a couple more good chances, and leave the back door wide open.

Just about everything that could go wrong, did today. Burnley did what they do, nothing spectacular but organised and competitive. Despite lacking obvious creativity they manage to do the damage if given a chance. Made us look complete muppets.

All round nightmare today. Just the 6 hours left on the journey home... still apparently 6 years ago today we lost 4-0 to Swindon. So you know, progress.
