Urgh, not optimistic about this one. Bury are flying and seem to score shit loads at Gigg Lane and we’re in a real slump at the moment.

Could it be one of those games where we pick up the points against the odds? Would love to think so but just can’t see it. Have this feeling Maynard, Mayor, Telford etc will murder us.

We rested most key players last night so should go up north with a strong squad but we need to find a way of cutting out the sloppy goals and posing more than just a threat via balls to Stockley’s head.

3-1 Bury

Sounds like we were abject again last night, despite playing Aaron Martin.

4-0 to Bury.

Telford will not even make the team mate, on the bench.
Think we may struggle but then again I think that most weeks.
Shit Fred title

Fair enough, thought Telford was a decent signing this summer so if he’s only on the bench it makes me more worried!

Apologies for the shitness of the thread title, just like our team, I was lacking motivation.

I've not seen us for couple of weeks and I'm fully expecting us to put in a bad performance sooner rather than later as we surely can't keep brushing teams aside at home. I wouldn't mind Telford starting but Moore has done pretty well recently too and he brings more ( no pun intended ) to the team than just scoring goals he links very well between midfield and attack. Exeter have good players and I'm not sure why they have been poor as of late but I'm sure they will give us a good game.

Not confident at all, but you just never know with us. If we play like we did 6 weeks ago we'd probably win, if we play like the last 6 weeks we've got no chance.

Don't get me wrong I Telford is quality it's just Moore is bringing "moore" to the table at present. I suspect you will go all industrial in your challenges and our quick lightweight players don't like being kicked off the field, hence my suspicion we may struggle as the pitches get wet and heavy.

Taking of pitches, any concerns re Saturday’s game? I see quite a bit of rain is forecast up your way?

Telford has bagged 8 this season in less game time than Maynard and Moore but it's about partnerships . Maynard seems to play off Moore much better but would have no qualms if Telford was selected. Throw into the mix Caloen* Lavery whose now fit again and we do look potent I suppose.

Exeter are missing Boateng and since hes got injured you've stopped firing .
I'd imagine if we lost Danny Mayor we too would suffer.

Listening to the commentary we can have no complaints so far. Adams and O'Shea seem to be tormenting us.
As usual we do nothing until we go behind.

Attack vs Defence so far. Bury are cutting through us far too easily.

We need to do something to get a foothold otherwise it could be a horrible final score.

FFS that's three penalties in a row we've missed. Just hack us down in the box, we won't score from it.

I thought Exeter did well today and were very unlucky not to come away with a draw. We played very well in the first half but the second it was pretty much all Exeter until we got the 2nd and killed the game off.

The penalty was a turning point, good save from Murphy but if you 'd scored that then who knows what the score could have been.

Fair enough but it's concerning why we don't come out in the first half and do anything.
Good penalties aren't saved.
Need to beat Crewe next week, at the very least we need to attack them from the start because soaking up pressure isn't getting us anywhere

Ffs so frustrating.

On the one hand it’s really positive that we were much better second half but to miss yet another penalty is infuriating.

Taylor’s was angry at the manner of the second goal in his post match interview. Sounded like another through ball we didn’t deal with. He said he’s going to make personnel changes so expecting a couple of incomings in Jan.

As Denzel says, a win next week against Crewe is vital otherwise the natives may start to become restless.

To be fair that was some through ball, sometimes you just cannot stop balls like that.

Crickey didn’t realise how bad Exeter’s form had got, looked decent at our place, few injuries?

We had a spell of having 5-6 players out but the biggest miss is Hiram Boateng. Since he’s been out we haven’t won and it’s worrying that the absence of one player has made us so toothless. Fortunately he’s now back in training so hopefully won’t be long till he’s back playing.

The players are also really low on confidence and just need something flukey to get back on track. Our next three home games are against Crewe, Yeovil and Grimsby and we need at least 2 wins out of those imo.

Crewe don’t travel well and Yeovil were the worst side I’ve seen us play in the EFL in years last week so you should pick up points there.

Macclesfield didn't travel well either until they pitched up at our place recently !. Still think we will be fine but need to turn the corner soon !

I don't like all this 'we will be fine when Hiram is back'.

He is a good player but should not shoulder all the expectation.

I suspect other clubs have worse injury problems than us.

We have an inexperienced manager and he is going through a bad patch.

Need to stop the rot against Crewe. No excuses.
