Broad Street seems to be the standard go-to with away supporters - Mooch Bar, Walkabout, etc. If you are looking for somewhere a bit more upmarket then you've got Brindleyplace and The Mailbox close by. On the other side of the station you've got The Arcadian by Chinatown, some decent bars there. All walkable from New Street.

Cheers, good to know we don't have to walk far from the station.

Remember going to Arcadia years ago, vaguely remember ending up in Gatecrasher, think that's the only time i've been drinking in Birmingham so I won't use it to tar the entire city.

The Railway is alright too, has screens, and is literally up the road from the Victoria.

Leeds may finish 3rd this season in the top away support table for numbers, but it is not over yet. Leeds have still to visit a few grounds with large away allocations that Newcastle have already visited. The demand for away tickets at Leeds at the moment has gone crazy. Our next game at Barnsley on Sky and £37 a ticket with the booking fee, sold out its large allocation in 30 minutes. Social media and Leeds message boards are full of fans begging tickets. The big test will be the midweek kick off against Blackburn where we have been given 6800. It does not help though when Wolves give Villa 2000 more tickets than they gave us.

It didn't sell out in 30 minutes, it had been on sale for a week prior to the date that members could purchase.

it sold out in 30 minutes to members. Like you say it had already been on sale for a week or so to season ticket holders. Still good going though.

your average will be above ours I would of thought. No chance you would of got near us if your form hadn't of picked up but it's your best season in years and everyone wants away tickets again. That's not to say your away support weren't good anyway but with the season your having I can imagine demand for away tickets is huge. If you have not of had that bad start you may of ended up being the best supported again. Will you sell out at Blackburn midweek? Think last season you took 3.5k there for a Saturday game which is good but I can see you taking the full allocation for your game in 2 weeks.

Maybe our fans are better behaved? Or atleast they don't have the reputation that Leeds have.

Nah it's alright, there are still trains running back and it'll still sell out with ease. Only a couple hundred tickets left but people can get refunds now if they want.

Jesus Christ.
Totally agree with you Jose...
'Have' not 'of'
'Lose' not 'Loose'

Aside: General observation on Villa Loyal...I'm sure you're a very nice chap but you're full of crap pal.

Also aside: Villa only up there on away numbers due to new ground novelty syndrome.

Yes our numbers have been swelled because of the new ground novelty I know that. We would still be up there anyway.

I find the Nazi comment very uncomfortable given I'm from a migrant Polish family.

Could of, sorry have, sworn this was the away support thread not an English Literature thread. Anyway still off topic but can anyone explain how all the Leeds fans on here and all the Leeds fans I have met in pubs around Birmingham, London and on trains seem decent enough, yet when I see them in or around Hillsborough or Elland Road they turn into complete twats? Especially when they say they don't give a shit about us?

It's English Language 101, the English Literature lesson will be in the Transfer Rumours thread in February.

We'll probably give you the extra numbers to be honest, can't see why we wouldn't as we sure as hell wont sell out the North Bank.
