Stoke is 22 miles away from me where as Brum is 27. Stoke is also based in my home county , so i’ll grant you that. There is no professional club in my town though. Plus my family are from Erdington Birmingham .

I know a Leeds fan that lives where I do. They are from Rotherham originally. The dad is a Rotherham fan, and his brother is a Wednesday fan. He decided to support Leeds .

Barnsley and the surrounding areas have always had a sizeable Leeds presence, it's a very spread out borough and in parts you can be just as close to Leeds as you are Barnsley town. That coupled with the fact Leeds were very successful in the 60's and 70's where as Barnsley were at their lowest point during much of this time and this has been passed down means there are lots of Leeds round here, half my family included (the twats). Can't explain the Wendies though...

My uncles followed Leeds up and down the country and all over Europe, including hopping trains to Paris for the European Cup final, and still to this day are stalwart Leeds. Yorkshire lads out for a laugh and could always guarantee an eventful trip when watching Leeds in those days, a lot of the miners chose them over Barnsley for that very reason. Far from glory hunters. Can't speak for anyone from Stoke mind.

Yeah if any credit is to be given , it’s that they stuck with the club during some pretty rough times . I do know two ex Leeds fans that deserted the club when the shit hit the fan mind. Yes I know a few around the Rugeley area. You’ve got a sizeable following around these parts .

Who has the 2nd biggest support in Barnsley? Us, Leeds, Blades, Man Utd or some other club?
I thought it was supposedly us and that was why you lot hate us, but really don't know.
