Mid table Charlton face relegation threatened Bury at the Valley on Saturday and will need to start picking up maximum points soon if they want to lift themselves from their current position.

Bury are in a small run of form at the moment after 2 wins and a draw in their last three. They sit outside the relegation zone only on goal difference.

Since when did you turn into a robot TA?

Another massive game. Would take a draw.

Karl Robinson took over in November and in that time we've had more red cards than wins so forgive me if I'm not feeling overly confident.

Our defending of late has been tragic and our best defender by a long way in Chris Solly is suspended. Doesn't bode well, especially if James Vaughn is back for Bury - he'll have a field day against our shambles.

Last night was abysmal by all accounts, Robinson has talked a good game but has been useless in all honesty. Not his fault entirely, no manager can succeed at this club in its current state and ownership.

We're lucky the teams at the bottom are no good otherwise we would find ourselves in a scrap at the bottom in a few weeks.

1-2.

Bury F.C. 24/04/1885 to 27/08/2019 R.I.P.
As ever with an away fixture, a point would be great.
I went all optimistic last week and went for a 2-1 away win and I was right for a change, so I'm going to be optimistic again for the Charlton game and go for the same outcome this week.
If we can get on a roll now and pull away from the bottom four I will start enjoying my Saturday afternoon again instead of dreading it!

Flitcroft has a lot to answer for on that matter.

Charlton let down my BTTS on Tuesday night and they are managed by Karl Robinson so they can fuck off and die.

Come on Bury!

Very good win for us. Sounded like Murphy kept us in it but who cares? It puts us in a great position but another big game on Tuesday v Coventry. Still need another 4 wins maybe 5.

Losing to Bury twice in a season is worse than Trump getting in power.

Had the double done on us by Bury.

Thanks Roland, Thanks Karl.

I refused to believe we would be dragged into a relegation scrap but it doesn't look like being far off at the moment with Port Vale having games in hand.

We are disgraceful at the moment and Robinson keeps telling us that he 'knows what we need to do' yet hasn't done it. His record is now worse than Slade's, how is that even possible?

To top it all off someone has retweeted a tweet onto my timeline and I'm convinced it's Lamby. Happy f*cking Saturday.

We've won 2 in 20 the chances of us winning both games in hand are slim... all be it one is against Cov.

Something about fickle boo boys, so I looked at the timeline and it's full of tweets about CARD's propaganda. So I'm thinking it can only be you.

Great post, as great as our away support. Granted it was five quid in but 650 odd away fans travelling to London when we are 20th in the table, just one away win and three wins overall since September and for a team that averages 3000 home fans is fantastic. My happiness with the result makes me willing to overlook the comments from the whinging Charlton fans about losing twice to us.

Love the attitude of the Charlton fans. Same as September. Comments like "losing to Bury" etc won't gain you support from fellow football fans in your plight.

No, you've missed the point chap.

I have no qualms with losing to anyone in this division. For me personally my comment was based on how we've fallen and it's meant as no disrect to Bury or any other side in this league. The year before the Belgians took over the club we missed out on the Championship play-offs on the last game of the season, Bury were in L2. We're now getting the double done on us by Bury only four years later. It shows how far this club has regressed. No argument about either result.

We're not in a plight though

What. The. Fuck?

We are currently 14th in the third tier of English football. Now OFFICIALLY the lowest we have ever been in our 112 year history.

Do some research on the CLUB you support. Except you don't support the CLUB do you?

We can't keep living in the past, it took us three attempts to get up last time.

I support the club, through thick and thin. I don't boycott or wish death upon owners just because things aren't going the way I wished it to. People like you who don't come just because you have a hatred of two people are in the wrong. What does doing that achieve? Nothing.

Living in the past?

We are officially in the lowest position in our history NOW - the present. How can you possibly say we're not in plight?

I don't not attend just because I have a hatred of someone. I don't attend because the man who is killing the football club I love will not profit from me. I still go to away games and I follow intently on twitter and the radio during home games. It fucking kills me not going to The Valley but I know it's the right thing to do by my club.

No team has a right to success, so are you suggesting we shouldn't be here?

The reason why the Lookman money wasn't spent on players is because it was used to pay the bills, which if people weren't boycotting would never have been the case.

I'll have a debate with you about it at Coventry or Chesterfield if you like.

What are you talking about, success? Fucking hell, I've supported Charlton 23 years, I know better than to expect success.

Honest answer, no we shouldn't be here. I've already said we were challenging for the Championship play-offs before the Belgians took over. We had a good squad, some of whom are now playing in the PL, the same players our genius owners deemed not good enough. The same owner who is worth €800m. So all things considered, we shouldn't be here.

We are here however and we should be competing but we're not. We're staring L2 in the face as is stands, absolutely inexcusable.

I have no interest in 'debating' with you at either of these games. We're never going to agree so why would I waste valuable drinking time doing so?

Fully understood now you have explained properly, I won't bother responding to Lamb Bamb's posts though.

Must be killing you seeing your club torn apart like this. Alot of Bury fans are dubious about our owners, one thing for certain is despite them running us like a circus at times they do generally seem to have our best interests at heart, coupled with a large dose of cloaks, daggers, cowering and egotism, but at least it hasnt got to the point where fans are boycotting and turning on the club. I sincerely doubt you will be relegated though, some God awful teams in the mire, arguably us included.
