Would take a draw here followed up with a win on Saturday. That will set us up nicely for the game against Scunthorpe.

I'd like to think we will go all out for the win here as it would be huge towards our top 2 push where as a draw wouldn't do us much good. It could leave us open at the back and result in defeat but worth the risk imo with a winnable home game to Swindon quickly after.

A win here going into the home fixture against Swindon will put us in a great position - and a win against Swindle would surely prop us nicely in second, at least for the time being.

However, lets not jump too far ahead too soon, Charlton are a good squad with a lot of very good technical players. It's gonna be far from easy... plus I'm sure we have very poor record against Charlton.

We could potentially be without Jones and Law, and I feel we miss the latter hugely. Yes, he was in poor form leading up to his injury, but he relieves so much pressure and carries the ball well when on song. Im not a fan of us lining up with two wingers in a 4-4-2, but it's difficult for me to be too critical when we've picked up 10 points from our last 4 games implementing such tactics. I don't think we'll miss Gilliead too much - I don't rate him, tbh.

4-3-3?

Doyle

McMahon - McArdle - KNP - Mezza

Vincelot - Dieng - Cullen

Marshall - Wyke - Hiwula

Draw!

How do you not rate Gilliead? Been one of our best players when he's played.

I'd take a draw also.

I agree bantamigo he's been one of our better players just lately.Shame he's picked up an injury just as he's getting into his stride

Has no pace, very rarely beats his man and has very poor touch.

Aside from 2 crosses that have resulted in a goal and is hitting the bar, I can't recall anything else that he has done.

Give me Law and Marshall on the wing every day of the week.

Well yes because they are established first team members.

For someone who has come into the side due to injury of others, I think he's been pretty good. Beats his man comfortably but I agree he isn't the quickest winger out there.

:bg: Apart from those 2 goals he set up from crosses into the box in few games he's played, he's rubbish. When was the last time we had a winger who had that sort of assist rate?

If he had lightening pace and could beat men all ends up as well as a decent delivery he wouldn't be on loan at us. Personally I think he keeps the ball quite well and does the right stuff for a winger, tries to get wide and put a ball across. Harsh IMO to say you don't rate him, he's got potential for a young kid.

Difficult to predict without knowing what sort of side we're able to put out but given the amount of injuries we have and the poor form we're in I can't see past an away win.

0-2.

A good point. Guess at this stage we'll be looking for favours from the clubs that Bolton and Fleetwood have games in hand against for us to have a hope of 2nd spot.

Good to see Oxford and Bristol lose tonight as they are the two clubs I expecting to sneak into the play offs. A win Saturday is crucial once again.

No surprise to see the two draw specialists draw.

We sounded second best first half but completely dominated the second and probably should have won comfortably in the end. Oh well, take the point, With Vale losing it takes us another point away from the relegation zone so that'll do me.

Our journo has tweeted Charlton have been the best side he's seen home and away this season and I thought they were decent at ours. Wonder why it's not got going for them. Think they'll do well next year if they don't have any major issues with their bellend owner.

I thought they were excellent at VP and expected them to move up to the top 6. Should they get new owners, am sure they will be a force to be reckoned with next year.
