Swindon then. Not quite the walkover Charlton are but I expect a win if we're to be looking up the table.

2-0 Morison and Gregory.

What a shit game for a Boxing Day. Isn't it about time the league just rotates the home/away fixtures, one home game on the 26th in fucking donkey's years.

I piss on their graves.

I fully expect us to attempt to set up to try and frustrated you and keep a clean sheet, however we are tactically inept and once the first goal goes in the flood gates will open and it will be an easy home win.

I'll be going if I can work out which buses go to the Den, I don't think the overground is working sadly.

Home to Scunny the first of two home games over Christmas, can't see us winning for a few reasons non more so than the ability vs lack of ability to score from Scunthorpe and ourselves

From a local perspective, pretty crap fixtures at Christmas with both sets of supporters not known for travelling in numbers

I presume you are being ironic?

I live in Battersea so not sure how easy it is to get to London Bridge sans railway. I'm led to believe I can get 2 buses pretty much to the New Den but haven't really investigated much.

Completely ironic, although it's not really that bad.

Just had a quick look at buses for you and it says 436 towards Lewisham, getting off at Queens road, Peckham station and then getting a P12 to South Bermondsey if that rings any bells?

Cheers Bobbin. Is the 436 from Battersea Park Road? Actually I could do all this myself! Lol. Cheers for the help buddy! :)

I'd hope we'd win. We're in good form, and everyone will want a space in that starting line up vs Chelsea so hopefully it helps us.

Angol is back from suspension as well which is great! 2-0 Posh.

We usually get beat at the den , can't see any way we will pick up points, hopefully 2-0 lose....... but I can see a lot more if we concede early

A potential 13th successive league defeat for Bury, and a 6th successive home league win for Fleetwood. Boy will I take a scabby 1-0 home victory.
Merry Christmas to one and all

We've only won 1 match in our last 10 if you discount extra time and that includes hammerings against Millwall & Charlton as well as losses to non league Barrow at home, L2 Portsmouth and L1 strugglers Shrewsbury and Chesterfield. In fact the Shrews and the Spirietes were bottom when we played them. We managed 2 draws against L2 Crawley and another at home to MK Dons. The only side we have beat in out last 10 games is Bury and everyone beats Bury at the moment. To say we're in poor form is an understatement.

Coventry haven't faired much better with 3 wins and 7 losses from their last 10. Unfortunately for them the 3 wins came in cup competitions. That said, they are putting up a good fight against some top sides. Unlike Rovers, Coventry have had some tough games, 3 of their last 7 league fixtures were against the top 3 sides in L1 - Scunthorpe, Sheff Utd & Bolton - and they've only lost by 1 goal on each occasion. With the boost you normally get when you appoint a new manager I fear it might be a very different Coventry that come to the Mem on Boxing Day.

The way we're defending at the moment I'd happily take a point but actually think we'll probably lose by the odd goal trying to chase all 3.

We've got the short journey up the M6 to the bog-mekkers.
We've been shite lately (not just lately, all season) and apparently Vale, after a decent start aren't any better..

Either a bore draw or a narrow home win, it will be cold.

1-0 Gregory. According to the Swindon fans that's all we needed to do for their game plan to unravel so... good.

Wasn't there, but lower midtable mediocre sides are our bread and butter, so I expect it was uninspiring but fairly comfortable in the end.

Three points off the POs. Even if we aren't good enough, at least it keeps the season interesting.

Sorry? You played a team separated from relegation by only three points, Bury and Tim Sherwood's ever-declining win percentage. Their goal difference tells the facts - Swindon are absolutely in a relegation fight and dream of mediocrity.

You weren't great but didn't have to be, Morison wins his headers, Gregory takes his chances. We continue to be inept and your players won't have had an easier match.

Rumours that we have a number of new players lined up for January, we need them, this current lot are about as useful as a kick up the arse.
