Probably gash if he's been playing for Alfreton.
Yes. Were shit but thats a tad harsh!

Sam Hird was only here on non contract terms and on the very few occassions he played looked unfit. He then picked up a knee injury which according to our manager was enough to rule him out for the season.

So according to Billy Heath you have signed a crooked player

as expected, Brad Walker has signed for Shrewsbury Town.... and loaned to us for the rest of the season due to the 2 club a season rule

good news as he seems to be pivotal in our midfield and we have only missed 1 game without him

I'll take that. He doesn't even want to be at Shrewsbury.

As the forum was down, you may have missed ex macc defender Kieran Kennedy signing for us after getting released from Shrewsbury

Good signing that, i liked him for us and thought he'd step up into FL well. Good in the air, good turn of pace and can bring the ball out from the back. Would have been happy for us to bring him back.

It's bizarre that we've now got 4 really good centre backs (Pearson, Smith, Lawlor, Kennedy) for this level but we can't get a single striker in who would be regarded as one of the best at the level.

Is a top striker really on that much more than a top centre back down here? Take Danny "£3k a week" Rowe out of things and surely the disparity isn't that great? What's Bonne on at Orient, I can't see it being that much more than Pearson is on with us. Both up there as the best in their position in the league.

There will be multiple add-on clauses in our favour, including the "England" clause- included in EVERY Shayman sale since the chairman wrote one into Jamie Vardy's draft sale contract with Fleetwood but crossed it out for fear he'd be laughed out of the room...… :ffs:
Yeah but you still made millions when he got that big money move to Arsenal a couple of seasons ago didn’t you?
Seem to remember you saying you were on for about 4 million when he accepted Arsenal’s offer.

That a relief (the forum being down) as I thought I had something wrong with my PC.

Doesn't affect us :)

is he related to horrible ex-keeper Billy Turley?
No! He played for us as well, so we have our second Turley to ever sign for us.

Happy with this, with Josh Coulson and Marvin Ekpiteta now both our injured for 4-6 weeks, we badly needed some extra cover at centre half. George Elokobi does a job, but he is simply far too injury prone these days and cannot be trusted to be fit week after week.

He's a solid enough Non League Centre half who gives 100%, we wasn't going to get anyone any better.

Post seemed to have been deleted with the forum going down, but we signed Dior Angus from Port Vale for the rest of the season. Been around non-league, so wondering if anyone knows whether he's any good?

Vale getting him some valuable experience in the division he’ll be playing in with them next season.
