Won 1-0 at the Scummers Harrow Borough last night in the Quarter Finals of the Middlesex Senior Cup, Omar Koroma with the late goal. Given that we made 10 changes from the side that started at Southport, the MSC isn't exactly high on the list of priorities.

Yup. Our greatest Cup 'triumph' this season is getting knocked out of the League Cup by Merstham, who are at the very least in the same division as us.

Went to Cantilever park tonight where a much physically stronger Warrington town dumped Tranmere's academy team out of the Cheshire senior cup 2-0.

Knocked out 1-0 by Bristol City's youth. Mix of fringe players and youth with a couple of regulars, Woolery our loanee from Wigan looked good but got subbed earlyish. They scored a soft one early with pretty much their first attack and then mostly weathered it. Got surprisingly niggly second half.

We are away to Matlock in the Semi Final of the Derbyshire Senior Cup tonight in Russ O`Neil`s first game officially in charge.

The date of our quarter final against Rochdale hasn't even been set, more than a month after it was drawn - winner plays the mighty Liverpool('s under 15 B team) in the semis.

Matlock advance 5-4 on penalties after sudden death.

Well for once a thoroughly enjoyable game in the County Cup. A rarity. This could have been 6-6 all. Our struggles at the back reared their ugly head once again. Wilson and particularly Heaton were torn apart. Matlock attacked at will down the left all night and look like scoring at every attack. We posed a serious threat also but was much more clinical.

Lord knows what happened to the Ref Second Half though. He barely gave us a single decision. He then awarded Matlock a penalty with 10 minutes to go after an apparent handball by Heaton. Didnt see it as i was the other end of the pitch.
We then looked to have equalised after Heaton powered home a Marshall free kick which was somehow disallowed. Embarrassing decision I was stood behind the goal and it was a perfectly good goal. The Ref then totally lost all control before 2 minutes from time giving us a penalty after a foul on Allan. Westcarr stepped up to make it 3-3.

Penalties were perfect from both sides until Heaton missed for us. Spiess made a fine stop though to leave Terry Kennedy with the chance to win it for us...never seen a worst penalty in my life! Think it went over the stand. Inevitably that was our chance gone and Clayts who has never been good at penalties was the guilty party. Overall glad to be out frankly, Good luck to Matlock in the final. They sound trounce Gresley playing like that.

Beat Stockport County last week 2-1, the youngsters played very well vs an experienced County side. Into Semi final now. Hoping for a Crewe vs Nantwich final as long as we are kept apart in the semi and they can past Northwich in the quaters.

Holman SC went to SWPL league leaders, Saltash United and predictably lost 4-1, though they did score the best goal of the game.

Brighouse v Tadcaster in the West Riding Cup semi final for me tonight (providing it's on). Place in the final at Valley Parade at stake here, would be massive for Brighouse for them to play there.

Finished 2-1 to Tadcaster, probably the right result in all honesty. Fair play to Brighouse though, they looked incredibly up for it even though it was only a West Riding Cup match.

Alty lost 2-1 at Hyde United last night in the Cheshire Senior Cup, fielding a pretty much full-strength (ie no reserve / youth types) side. Hyde have dropped 3 divisions in three years, something we will quite possibly emulate next year.
