Another must win! We say it every match, but we really need to pick up wins during our current run of fixtures because our last 4 games look horrendous.

This is all set up for being a typical Vale failure, playing bottom of the league by a mile Coventry who haven't scored in about 4 games and who can't buy a win. We're bound to meekly hand over the points and say sorry for disturbing them - it always happens! It doesn't matter how abject the opposition have been, we are the patron saints of giving teams a boost in their hour of need.

We have to fight like we have in the previous few games and our form is just starting to improve - we are starting to score a few but we just can't keep a clean sheet (not for 13 games I think). I'm going for 1-1, purely because a point is better than nothing - I'm feeling pessimistic about tonight as these are the types of games we always trip up on. Added to the fact that we've won once away from home all season.

Huge huge game, possibly much bigger for us than them now they are pretty much down.

Twisted the missus arm to let me do the short drive from Leicestershire to attend hoping to see my first away win since Coventry 2 years back!

We have been playing much better away and haven't had much luck with late goals, keeping errors etc. away from home but if we can get the early goal that will help settle us you'd expect. We are working incredibly hard and the added experience of Taylor plus the rise to fitness and form of Chris Eagles gives me hope.

If we want to stay up we must get something from this, a win realistically would in my view make staying up more likely than going down.

Just don't do what we normally do against bottom sides Vale!

As already said, it's another crucial game for us. I think we might manage a win to gain the psychological advantage of being out of the relegation zone, but a draw wouldn't be a disaster.

I'll go for a 0-2 win with Hooper and Eagle's on target.

Two changes, Guy and Forrester injured, Shopido and Reeves (first start for the youth) come on.

Assume it's 4-5-1 with JJ up top then!

Awful and complete embarrassment. Worse than the home game against these.

Massive keeper fuck up for the first. Losing JJ means we have fuck all up front as Reg isn't fancying it.

Really letting themselves down after the hard work to give us a chance to stay up.

C'mon coventry you hold on and i'll forgive you for beating us.

think the only way we'll stay up is cos of other teams being just as bad as us.

Not turned up again away from home.

Loads of them strolling around like it's an end of season game. Reg just strutting around, it's slow paced, everything we haven't been the last few games.

How can you blame the keeper for the first!? Great strike

VF16, your missus must really hate you, in allowing you to go to watch a Vale away match, no matter how close to home it is.

Shameful night and rightly booed off. Absolutely embarassing. Injuries need to clear up soon as we have zero chance with Reg as a lone striker.

Livid is an understatement

Glad i was working and made my decison for me not to bother wasting my time and money going chesterfield. Think i will spend my day watching the grand national in the pub instead.
