Really is do or die now. We have missed so many chances in recent weeks to move out of the bottom two for the first time since November - equally you could say Yeovil and Macc have missed their chances to make a bid for safety too by being just as bad as us. Time is running out though, and we need to do something now. With Macc facing a resurgent Newport and Yeovil entertaining Colchester, a win could well put our heads above water, before a very winnable home game next week.

The problem is the players aren’t that good or confident, the fans are pissed off with them, the management and each other, and three points right now seems a long way off. But after losing 4-1 at Cheltenham, we won at Carlisle. After losing to Exeter in devastating circumstances, we won at Stevenage. Both times the fans had all but given up hope. We need a similar result tomorrow, but this time there is no margin for error - defeat for us and a win for Macc or Yeovil and that would surely be that.

0-1 Notts. Please.

Our result against Exeter was very odd. If you look at the stats we had 55% possession, which is good. We then had four shots, which is bad. We scored from three of them, which is amazing. Exeter had twenty odd shots!

In other words we are still not playing well, we just got lucky in that game. You cannot keep scoring from 3/4s of your shots. The game just isn't like that.

If Notts County turn up tomorrow, get about us and play on the front foot they will win. I can almost picture the goals now. Pressuring the back five, the ball is passed to the keeper under pressure who chips it to a Notts attacker/midfielder who runs forward and either scores himself or lays off to someone else to score. It is so regular it is laughable. Morris (our keeper) has an assist in so many goals against us this season. Good shot stopper mind.

If you stand and let's us play the ball we will bore the pants of everyone and maybe sneak a one nil.

Sadly there is probably a good chance we will do the latter!

Any chance of your boss resting a few now you’re safe Casey?

Unlikely, although if he rests Morris you'll walk it.
Unfortunately for you, some of our better players are coming back to full fitness/form - e.g. Morais, Gambin, Willock.
I'm not sure how today will go but I've predicted a draw.
Hope you stay up.

Creepy got the result they needed against us last Friday so today they should spend at least 50% of the match actually on their feet and not feigning injury....heck, they even put Wycombe to shame........

.......we were pretty rubbish to be fair, as bad as against Mansfield but Creepy were just plain timewasters from the very outset, continually breaking up play, falling over, fake cramps and crafted overlong goal celebrations which the rubbish ref ( Thomas Bramall ) did beggar all about.............

..........Ping it about Notts , keep Morais and Grego-Cox quiet , pressure the keeper and you'll have every chance, would hate to see you go down it's a quality awayday up at yours , good luck bauys.................P.S. really sorry about Maccy the other week, we need our asses kicked.

A point in I guess the tougher of the fixtures in relation to us a man down and Yeovil a man up. In their game.
As you were for the 3rd game a row.

WHY WERE WE TIMEWASTING AND LEAVING SIX BACK FOR OUR ATTACKING SET PIECES!?!

Probably because I’ve never seen a side continually leave 4 up front on the half way line spread out the full width of the pitch.
With our set piece quality , what did you want to leave back 4? 3?

I agree we should of still sent up both big men and one other but hard not to keep 5 back in that scenario. But I feared a counter attack goal over us scoring from a corner which says it all.

As for the game. We were easily 50:50 to win that before the most needless idiotic two footed lunge I’ve ever seen. No previous nastiness in the game, no revenge , no injustice, the ref didn’t have to anything other than the obvious. Barclay decides with no threat to Notts goal in the Crawley half to end all chances of a rare Notts win.

T**t!

Good goal from Notts, from a throw in?!?!? Couldn’t believe it.

Poor goal to concede, don’t mind the lad meeting Tootle but what is CMS doing?!? Allowed to proceed far too far, and a smart finish.

Second half lucky to get a point, with two (headers) sitters missed in the second period.

Both managers will be upset about the goals conceded. Fair play for the finishes but why let them get in that position.
I'm tempted to say it was end of season fare but we tend to play that slowly an Notts need the points. It seemed to be half paced most of the game.
Barclay is a twat! If his teammates haven't given him a kick in in the changing rooms then let the fans in to do it for them. Total tool.

Good luck for the battle.

Barclay probably went straight back to Brighton tonight, season over, loan over no better than Pierce Bird a home grown lad.
