Kane 23 goals 1 assist
Salah 21 goals 6 assists
Aguero 21 goals 5 assists

Spot the player that isn't the striker yet has had a direct hand in the most goals. :hypo:

Shearer, Ronaldo and Suarez share the record for the number of goals scored by a player in a 38 game season having scored 31 goals each.

I reckon Kane will beat that this season.

You could be right he's got plenty of games left to get 9+ goals. Do they play Everton yet? Always a good chance to knock up a cricket score against that lot.

mohamed "the winger" salah's heatmap, which is more central (and further up the pitch) than most strikers

He's not a striker GB. You know that. Stop being a silly billy and give credit where it's due.

i don't know what you mean pags mate. i've given him plenty of credit, there aren't too many forwards in better form this season. i just happened to name 8 players who are currently playing better than him in europe this season imvho and that. have you seen immobile this season mate? absolutely majestic. and then you have neymar tearing it up, making it look easy, going at over a goal a game which is just incredible, unmatched even. morata was making everyone look average until his first unfortunate and rather severe injury, only to suffer a further setback. he's a real trooper him and i hope he gets fit soon. and of course another heroic performance from my top pick lascelles today mate. did you see him? first name on the england team sheet this summer if there's any justice. what a guy.

But the fact you included Kane and Aguero, neither of who are playing better, sort of undermines the rest of your claim. Imvho and all that.

i don't know what you mean pags mate. that's a matter of opinion, surely? looking at it objectively as a neutral... kane is also a forward and has scored 11 in his last 10 while leading the line all by himself in a team that creates fewer chances, he's been brilliant imvho and that. fully expect him to break the top scorer record this season. aguero too, scoring for fun (13 in his last 10) as well as regularly dropping a bit deeper to create space and chances for his team. his goals to mins ratio is currently the best in the division by a jaw dropping 8 minutes, at 85 mins per goal, as i'm sure Bilo is aware and has already shared with you. i don't think i need to tell you that's a fucking insane stat pags mate. an absolutely ridiculous, mind boggling, awe inspiring level of performance. man, what a player huh? i don't think it's anywhere near as cut and dry as you like to believe, with all due respect and that mate. 9 in 10 is good too obviously. it's very close, but none of them have been performing way better than the others. so its like down to individual opinion and that mate, and you being a liverpool fan will obviously side with salah, but to suggest there's no debate to be had here is foolish at best, blatant bias at worst mate.

So, Everton have hit 40 points and are safe from any relegation battle. If I were Everton I'd get rid of Sam now and bring Marco Silva in. He will have a few games to get a feel for what is needed in the summer.

Sam's done his job. Just.

One of the better options they could realistically get. Not exactly a premium destination.

The funniest thing about that post Johnny is that you actually believe it. Remember when Koeman arriving was the biggest Everton news since 1995? Ah, memories.

More booing from the Everton fans.

Big Sam seemed happy with a draw at Swansea - not sure the Everton fans felt the same!

If Everton do part ways with Allardyce (which would be madness) the ideal man has got to be Rafa surely?

Wouldn't touch it if I were Rafa. He'll wait on the takeover and see what position that puts them in first.

I highly doubt that Rafa would ever consider going to Everton. However ,Eddie Howe is one guy the Toffees should think about .The squad needs a good deal of rebuilding which will take time and old managers like Sam are not in it for the long haul. Howe is a progressive young manager who likes his team to play the good attacking football Evertonians also want to see. I think most Everton supporters are tired of the dross Sam gives them each week , time for Everton to rebuild and plan for the future.

Personally I'm happy for Sam to stay though .:bg:

I just want to go on record in congratulatong Abertawe for taking the first step in accepting he was wrong about Allardyce, in particular him being a long term solution to Everton. It couldn't have been easy.

And no way in hell would Benitez ever go to Everton.
