Yep.....why not ? I have no dislike for the fans of any English teams.

Well they hardly have a tough time of it, do they?

With Davies and Lukman coming through the future is bright for Everton, that's them wrapped up 7th for the next few seasons anyway. ;)

That wink gets less and less convincing every time you use it, Salty.

I'm beginning to think it's a tic.

They are the pride of merseyside, you can't take that away from them. You won't take my cider away from me either, whisky boy.

Hilarious result. I don't like Pep. He's always been unfortunate to inherit great squads rather than build much up and it's brilliant to see him get found out this year. He's played players in questionable positions and hasn't addressed the defensive problems that were plain to see. I'm not the biggest fan of Hart but to get rid of him and replace him with Bravo was just absurd. Surely Bravo might just go down as one of the worst goalkeepers in Premiership history?

Could have been the beginning of my post :D. Unbelievable how shit City really is (and I like it because I don't like Pep). Even Everton showed it. 2 Debut goals for Everton from an 18year and a19year old against City (the 19year old (Lookman?) looked more like a 12 year old ;) ).

He turfed out some of the older players like Ronaldinho and Deco that were at the end of their cycle at Barca but had great talent like Xavi, Iniesta, Messi and Eto'o at his disposal. Who did he bring in around that time? The only decent one was bringing Pique back who didn't really have the best time in Manchester. So yeah, I think he inherited a good squad that had underachieved the previous season.

Still a brave call to punt Ronaldinho and Deco, and rely on a kid in Messi to bring them forward. It could have easily went awry had Messi not been the best player there has ever been! :p

Messi had looked an excellent prospect before Pep took over at Barca. Saying that though, I remember when I first saw him play around 2004/2005 time and thought that he looked to small and lightweight to make it as a top pro. Shows what I know about football!

Yeah I'm the same, I remember seeing him in his first few Barca games, and heard a lot of hype about him, and thought he looked a hell of a prospect; but I don't think many of us expected him to be that good!

Lads, lads - let's not diminish a brilliant Everton win by talking about Pep the Pusher™ and Drugalona™.

Davies makes this playing football malarkey look easy. Looks to me to be our best kid I've seen come through since Rooney

Stockport County.
Shows that there can be some good left in football when you a see a young 18 y/o with a 6 year old girls haircut and socks round his ankles waltz past a team like Manchester City full of mercenaries who are doped up to the eye balls on performance enhancing drugs and put it in the net.
