This is pretty much worst home record against best away record and there's only one way that is going to end up.

Laing being suspended for us is mildly annoying, but Audel is decent cover if we stick with 3-5-2. Only other problem is that Stead went off with a knock on Saturday, but apparently he should be okay.

We're a couple of points off the top three despite the second half on Saturday being the first time all season that we've actually played well. Doesn't say much for the quality of this league but does mean that we may be able to do something with a pretty solid, ordinary team behind a really good front two.

Well I guess we're due a home win at some point....It will be a very poor crowd, probably around 2500, which just shows how fed up we are with our dreadful home form.

Pluses for us are Lee Holmes being fit as he's one of the few truly high quality players we have, David Wheeler should be back on the bench and Reuben Reid should be in line to start up top which will make us much stronger going forward.

We concede most weeks, and I understand County concede regularly but are good going forward, so the should be plenty of goals in this one (nailed on 0-0?).

Hoping Stead is still feeling his knock and we will have to watch Forte's pace as we are quite slow at the back.

I'll go 2-2, Taylor and Reid for us. Forte and Collins for County.

Stead is in ridiculous form but I wouldn't mind seeing Collins get a start and Stead given a bit of a rest. Think one of the reasons why he looks 100x better than last season is that Sheridan is taking him off after an hour and managing his fitness, the guy must've played just about every minute last year.

Collins is really, really fast as well, him and Forte could be great on the counter.

If Sherdan has done his homework then this would be a good move. We are slow at the back and that could be your best route to winning. However, Tisdale does set us up like the away team and we tend to sit deep for the first hour (much to our fans' chagrin) so, on reflection you may benefit from Stead's experience and then bring Collins on later...

Sheridan has pretty much confirmed that Stead is going to start now anyway. Don't change a winning team and all that.

We don't do form and our record at Exeter is terrible. Reckon this will be a loss with a we battled hard post match interview.

Laing missing is a big blow. He's a very very good player for this level.

Not convinced. I like Laing and think he'll prove to be good, but he's been pretty poor so far for me. Was a weak link all afternoon against Orient, not for the first time this season.

Like many city fans, I'm yet to see us win a single point so far this season. I've been lucky enough to see us score twice though so I shouldn't get greedy.

Our defence is going to be somewhat makeshift tonight thanks to injuries and suspensions, the most worrying thing being that the portly Matt Oakley could feature. I'd hope though that Croll and Sweeney play at cenner back with Stacey and Woodman/Riley-Lowe on the right and left respectively. Then we just cross our fingers that nobody does anything stupid.

not seen a single Notts game this season and thus refuse to believe Jon Stead is actually good until I see it with my own eyes. I assume it's a Man in the High Castle scenario where footage is coming from an alternate universe.

Can't believe we've won four on the bounce away after watching us against Yeovil on the opening day....and first clean sheet of the season.

Jon the hitman Stead. Who'd have thought it eh?

This looks dangerously like form going into a home game game at the weekend. Surely we will mess it up ahead of the Stags game

Not until after Saturday please.
Stupid thing is we will probably get something on Saturday to keep papering over the cracks...

Things won't change so we just have to suck it up and get on with it.
