A half decent referee and we wouldnt be through. Kettering were denied what appeared a stonewall penalty and we should have had both Fowler and Kinsella sent off for two footed tackles. That said its about time we benefitted from a poor referee and we are in Mondays draw

I’m doing an article on what non league fans are charged to get in games and I’ve got all the National League clubs figures except Wrexham, I just can’t find it anywhere.
Does anybody know how much they charge please?

ball number 60 is then a nightmare for all...
I want Walsall or Coventry. But Sunderland or Pompey would do. Failing that some Met Police type unit, as all these brotherhood tinpotters talk a big game but will talk a bigger gate than they deliver (Wrexham excluded).
Looking forward to First Round draw, (our third in a rown, yah yah yah tinpot) but it look until Luton until we drew a decent one, gate wise. So tinpotters... errr... i mean, brotherhood, if you draw us there will be 1500 travelling right? Or a 5k home gate, as you are massive clubs.
PPS ... Walsall orCoventry please.

Muir and James were shockingly bad, but the midfield three took the fucking biscuit in the shit stakes, like three old women playing.

Gotta start Hawkes and Dinanga on Saturday, Dinanga had more shots on target in 3 minutes than James did all game.

The only positive is that we’re through to the first round and pocketed £25k, let’s have the Mackems at our place instead in round one.

I didn't bother today, most games i've been to have bored me shitless.I decided to listen to it on the radio & turned that off at half time.
As for the midfield, two of them who played today have been fecking awful for 4 seasons, yet still get contracts & play, while the more creative Hawkes is pissed away on the bench.
I hope we get an away tie, becuase i've virtually chicked the towel in for home games.

Narrow 1-0 defeat to Bromley, we desperately need a decent forward who can put the ball in the net. Deserved a replay regardless but with that cutting edge we may have won, Fabien Robert being suspended didn't help either as the lad has genuine class.

Heard you have Andre Wright from Torquay training with you guys.

Didn’t realise he was with you - how’s he getting on? Was brilliant for us at the start of his loan spell last season, picked up a bad injury then was poor once he returned. Surprised he’s slipped down to NLS level as like you say, on his day he is class.

Ugh, another shite day at Edgeley Park.

County weren't anything special, 2 soft goals. Their keeper looked very competent, whereas ours is a shambles. We'll never score at Edgeley Park.
Fair play to Alty I thought you guys played some really good stuff on Saturday. Impressed with No 7 (Johnston?) who was lively and though Sean Williams was running the game until he had to come off with an injury.

Only negatives i'd say is Alty looked a bit toothless in the final 3rd. Apart from a couple of pot shots and Hulme trying to walk it in, you guys didn't have a lot of end product for some impressive build up play, and the defending for both goals was poor.

2 straight forward goals for us, and a 3rd not given for god knows why?! Seen the highlights and I still can't see any kind of foul in the build up. ho-hum, it matters not now.

On another note, Hinchliffe is easily the best GK in the Conf North.

Anywho, onto the draw. I'd prefer a winnable home tie in the next round. Happy for any of you lot to get knocked out by Sunderland in an empty stadium!

I think our problem is that the team is essentially a top Evostik side.

Even when pissing that tinpot league, there were sides who frustrated / turned us over by being physical and well-drilled. The Conference North is full of those - Boston, Guiseley, County, Curzon - we couldn't score against any of them.

Add to that the fact that our defence can't cope with a fat striker (I'm adding Mulhern to that ever-lenghtening list now).

We’re getting invaded by the MASSIVE following of Bristol Rovers. I don’t think our stadium is big enough to cope with the sheer numbers that they’ll bring.

Weston-Super-Mare away if we win. Tinpot but something different at least from the usual Maidstone, Alfreton, Fylde nonsense we seem to get in the cup.

Salford will beat Shrewsbury.

Reckon they’ll have more there than you will.

Happy with Donny at home. Potential TV tie and with the form were in an upset could be on the cards!

Boooo that draw, booo

Fucking Gillingham away

Other way round would've been great for me as I'm in Newcastle that weekend!

Last season I stuck £20 in a bucket to support you lot, so I'll take it personally if you knock us out now.

Don't forget the 8 ties on the Sunday afternoon.
Swindon away. Awlful draw. No money and we'll get comfortably beat.
