Well if southport win the replay, they can make the trip to peterborough in the 3rd round instead.

And well done to woking for doing what we haven't been able to do in about 200 years...winning at swindon.

Lincoln v Grimsby 3rd round
Scunthorpe v Grimsby would be the big one...

Oh hang on a minute...

Only second time since 1998 we've qualified for this level (as opposed to automatically being there via second tier).

And importantly Kevin Clifton got safely through today as well...

Like printing money was that today.

Bookies don't often get it wrong but they did today.

Are Kevin and Harry related?

Seems I'm not the only one lol!!!

Boston jokes aside, you and Les did cause me to check up on Harry's wiki (he is considered "one of our own") but in fact Harry Clifton was born in Hull!

Kevin is, of course, yellow-belly through and through, born in Grimsby, educated at Caistor Grammar and (although rumoured to support Scunthorpe [because of his dad] and Chelsea?!) he did wear a black and white striped shirt in an earlier round...

Arsenal at home.
If we hadn't bottled it against Blackpool

Palace away is not a bad draw. We’ll a good following for sure.

How lucky do Lincoln get?

I'll definitely take Palace after the shite draws we've had recently. Should be a great away day.

Some good TV games there:

Tranmere or Southport v Spurs
Wrexham or Newport v Leicester
Solihull or Blackpool v Arsenal
Woking v Watford

There must be at least 20 ties more appealing than the Man U draw, surely they can’t be on this time.

You’d have been a different draw number so don’t worry.

No they wouldn't have.

The draw numbers for round two are based on when the tie is drawn in the 1st round - for example if Bury v Cheltenham is drawn out first the winners are ball 1 in round 2.

For round 3 - the Prem and Champ teams are 1-44 in alphabetical order, then tie 1 of round 2 becomes ball 45, tie 2 ball 46, etc...

Ergo, Exeter would have been the same ball number in round 3 as the team that beat them in round 1.

They were the last time they played Reading at home in round 3 - two years ago I think it was.

Even more reason for them not to be on this time round. I’d rather watch Burnley v Barnsley!

Great draw. We have actually got quite a bit of history with Spurs in the cup. We are almost sister clubs.

That'll do!

You either want a money spinner or an 'easier' tie and the Everton one should be a good little earner for us.

Looking forward to see who comes out on top in a foot race between Wilfried Zaha and Danny Collins.

Not a great draw, but decent enough. It's kind of a bit disappointing that we'll probably go out and won't make too much off it. Not gonna grumble about an extra London away day though. Anyone got any idea about what our allocation will be?
