Pearson is the best player I've ever seen in a Preston shirt. He's gonna break our transfer record by a big margin.

Unbelievable yet again, he's just a brilliant footballer. Best player by an absolute mile for me.

As for the game, I really wish we could put the ball in the net as our performances aren't getting the results they deserve. The new lad looked lively aswell.

Robinson, McGeady and Horgan is going to be fucking tasty.

...and yes, Ben Pearson is better than Bobby Charlton.

I mean I don't want to say I told you so, but I did tell you after his first game at Bristol City

We were excellent, especially in the first half, I did fear the worst up against Stokes ‘ superstars ’ but we were comfortable. Bodvarrson should have scored twice in the first 10 minutes but he put a good shift in. Second half Ikeme made 4 great saves and we defended really well. Be interesting to see if Lambert brings Batth and Stearman back in or keeps with Hause and Williamson, who were both excellent.

Great day out in Birmingham, and a great result by our weakened team against a strong Baggies side.

5300 fans got behind their team, and credit to WBA for selling most of theirs too.

It's a shame the anti football thug that is Pulis failed to give us any credit the wanker.

11 changes we made for our win over MK Dons, yet I genuinely hadn't realised until Neil Warnock kindly pointed it out just now in his pre-match interview for Cardiff's game - such was the strength of our supposed "second string". We've never had squad depth quite like it. Great to see Kayal scoring on his return from injury and looking right back on it, too.

We travel to Middlesbrough today, not a very exciting tie but it's definitely winnable. Expect both sides to make changes but with the sounds of it Carlos wants to win so should still be some key players in the line up. Think certain players like Kieran Westwood, Sam Hutchinson, Glenn Loovens and Forestieri should all be rested.

Shit result yesterday but we were playing a full strength Premier League side, fancied us getting them back for a replay when it was still goalless coming up for the hour mark but gave away a stupid goal, then 2 more stupid goals. Shame we couldn't have a run but less games to worry about for the promotion run in.

Thought we did ok yesterday. We had nothing going forward but it was far from the embarrassment our fans thought it would be. Once Spurs scored it killed us off and in a way I'm glad it has not gone to a reply like it looked like it was going to be. It's such a shame the fa cup has lost its identity and the magic that went with it. That's modern football for you.

Will be a second-string team out tonight but hopefully be good enough. Reports that our team is:

Silvestri

Berardi Bartley Cooper Denton

Vieira Grimes

Roofe Phillips Mowatt

Antonsson

In some shape. Enough quality there to see us through but a boggy pitch on a rainy night down there, not gonna be a walk in the park.

Win for Cambridge if you rest all your team.

Wouldn't be surprised mate. Not the end of the world if so. Obviously I'd like to progress but it's a huge game on Friday against Derby so sod having key players slogging around a muddy field tonight.

Best thing for Leeds is to exit the fa cup but as a football fan who loves tradition it's hard to think that for your own team.

Yeah lots of people saying they kind of hope we lose but I just can't bring myself to that way of thinking. I won't lose sleep about it but I love a good cup run and so long as we rotate the squad for a couple of rounds it shouldn't be too much of an issue. Best case scenario is we get through with another low-key game in the next round so we can play a similar team again.

I was the same with Spurs yesterday. I wanted us to win but I didn't give it a second thought when we got beat. I fancy Cambridge tonight if that helps you any.

I'm amazed Jansson is playing tbh. He's on 9 yellows and we have two massive games coming up. That's a big risk.

Tbf you should have enough quality there to beat Cambridge tonight. Although Cambridge will maybe be up for it more, it must be a pleasure playing games at the moment if your Leeds.

United away. Potential to make some serious money on correct score bets. Fivers on 6-0 7-0 8-0 and so on. :D

Ugly, that. Very ugly at times.

But we're through. Pissed off with the Jansson situation though. Fuck knows why he played.

Because if he didn't play and got booked against Derby he wouldn't have hit the appearance number that triggers the buyout clause before the transfer window shuts.

Bring him on right at the end then. That was the sensible option.

No-one really knows the details of the transfer anyway. Everyone thought it was 20 games, now 22. No-one knows what happens if his 22nd app is in February etc. Just very disappointing to be without a huge player for two massive games. Hmph.

I thought that was one of the best draws :dk: bit of a derby init?

Rochdale away is a good cup tie for us, tough game, we'll sell out the 3600 and a good opportunity to progress. Not having that progression will be bad for our season, Wagner is the king of rotation.

Wank draw again.

Derby v Leicester

Plymouth/Liverpool v wolves

Chelsea v Brentford

Wimbledon/Sutton v Leeds

Even those games are pretty dull but I'd probably watch them.

Classic televised 'cup upset potential' to those who pick the TV games and many neutrals; except Lincoln and us lot know exactly what's coming! Potential doesn't coming into it. FML
