Plymouth is agog. I am not going as getting tickets has been a fraught with difficulty, and is a long boring story. Kids are very very disappointed, but I'll watch on BT Sport, with the sound down, Radio Devon playing, a roaring fire going and a beer in my hand. But why or why have they made a giant pasty, which I presume will be paraded around the pitch?

I fully expect us to lose, but a long as we give a good showing for league 2. Yes I'd love us to get to the next round, if nothing because I know I'll be able to get tickets if Wolves visit, but our squad is shrinking and I won't be unhappy to get back to the league.

Yep, hard lines Plymouth. Actually going 1-0 down made the game a much more memorable spectacle for the Green Army than if they had managed to defend a 0-0 score line into the second half. That volley deserved to go in for a start.

I would say that a fourth tier side who didn't concede a goal from open play throughout 180 minutes vs Liverpool, had been tactically astute.

Embarrassing on the other hand would have been if we had pandered to the neutral spectators' desire (and Liverpool's) and gone for it from the get go, leaving ourselves open and losing 5-0. As that greasy pubehead Mcmanananamaman wanted.

There are many ways to play to football to give yourself the best fighting chance, Derek Adams got it spot on in my opinion. Once the big guns came off, he pushed it forward as we were significantly less vulnerable against a 19 year old Wilson than a Coutinho or Sturridge.

Fantastic night, great to see Home Park rocking again. Back to the bread and butter now and hopefully the good times can continue this season. Proud.

I think he got the message loud and clear, not just from our fans but also from his colleagues who saw an own goal and kept prodding him. BT should not have used him, the colour commentator needs to be neutral, insightful and provide colour. All three of those requirements are beyond him. He viewed the whole game through a very biased red prism.

You pushed it forward long before Coutinho went off. And that scared mentality because it's Daniel fucking Sturridge (not Lionel Messi) invited relentless pressure early on which lead to a clear penalty and a goal from a corner in the first 20 minutes.

The tactics in the first 20 minutes were stupid imo. Be compact yeah, but you've still got to have some sort of plan to get beyond the half way line when you have the ball, a bit of pace to break forward. There was no plan.

Once you went 1-0 down however, things changed, you looked far more of a threat going forward, they looked far less comfortable on the ball because they were getting less time and at the same time you didn't look any more vulnerable than you did before. You wouldn't have lost 5-0 if you'd done that from the off. They are not that good for fuck sake.
