Ok , here you go

Maybe as I said elsewhere that you win, given the scenario we’re both in that’s the kinda thing football produces.

Doesn’t sound anything like England vs Latvia to me haha . It’s ok you do this before every game

So you asked someone to prove it, provide evidence and Enzo does with a direct quote from yourself. Brilliant

Adam :gmc:

Yeah. Cool. Of course

I’m sure they’ll be chances for you to win again soon. You all predicted you’d lose so least its not a bad evening in your latest failure.

Poor Alan hardy, he’s backed the wrong horse

We did indeed , we all tried to tell you beforehand but you still predicted a home defeat ! Haha , my advice never start gambling on football Adam you’ll be flat broke within a year

It was all so predictable both on the field and even more so on this thread both before and after the game .

The only surprise was us not selling out for the first time ever ! The rest was a certainty , nice to see a healthy home support for a change with nearly 5500 at the Mill . This really could be Mansfield Towns golden era in their clubs history :shut:

Exactly. It was good to see us win with such ease. The -1 bet at evens was a gimme a evens! Nice £25 for the evening.

Maybe county might be able to get a win before the new year to boost confidence, anything is possible.

You and the Viking seem to do what the notts board to so well. Hide the head in the sand. Accept losing at “lowly Mansfield” is inevitable, must be hard to take.

Rather than focusing so much on a club currently much out of your reach, should you concentrate on how things are going at notts? Hardy looked a lonely figure at the end of the game, how is he keeping up with the club losing so much money?

Or is focusing on what Mansfield are doing so much better than notts better than focusing on the rotting core at county? Can you actually provide a post just on county rather than trying to deflect attention?

Not sure you are allowed to ask questions and demand answers seeing as you run from any direct question you don’t like.

How am I hiding my head in the sand I’ve not gone anywhere? At least make sense when you post don’t start peddling lies

You have done a complete one eighty since predicting a home defeat pre game, funny that. Expect you do that every single time. Funny how you never mentioned the Bet once beforehand lol. You say one thing, Bet the other and then wait for the result. What a charlatan lol

But as I’m not scared like yourself, i’ll Answer . Of course it’s hard to take losing to a historically poor MTFC who have played one season in the 2nd tier of English football and never in the top flight in their entire history. I can’t even imagine being a fan who hasn’t seen their side play regularly in the upper echelons , must sound like a magical mystical place. I feel sorry for the younger Notts fans in their 20s and early 30s but anyone older has witnessed far better days. No Stags fan alive has, that’s why you only have 4000 regular fans... tops

How can that not be hard to take, historically you are a 4th Division side and your golden period is basically the 3rd tier of English football. It’s embarrassing to constantly lose and this season be well adrift of a club who must so few followers year on year.

I’d call it our lowest ebb, I mean we could very well drop into non league football for the first time in our history. You know the place , of course you do . As do Lincoln fans, Grimsby fans , Tranmere fans , Oxford fans etc. It’s nothing new. But it will be for us Cos we’ve never been #stained before.

But if it happens MTFC have come back stronger for it, you don’t view being relegated to non league football as your
Club’s lowest point (if not what is?) and you don’t believe it’s a stain on your club’s history. So on that premise it’s not all bad , as people have said before you get to go to lots of new grounds n places lol

Not that any of this matter Cos the fountain of football knowledges believes a club’s history means nothing. Totally irrelevant.:fl:

So I’ve answered your question, right now we are well adrift of Mansfield on the field . For only the second time in your history you are very likely to be one maybe two divisions ahead. Your club was formed in the 1800s, I think that says it all.

Last season we weren’t on or off it, but that’s football. Is last season too far ago not to count at all.

I could ask lots of questions back to put things in perspective, so you can step back and view the big picture but is pointless Cos you either go very quiet and don’t answer or give a short two word answer which is basically giving up#mentalpretzel

Enjoy the golden period, you’ve earnt it and it’s certainly long overdue however young or old you are

I wouldn’t feel sorry for anybody in their 20s, 30s, quite frankly if I was a old bastard.

I’m more than happy with the history of my club and even if I wasn’t - it wouldn’t matter a thing and I’ll still support it till the death just like the other regulars would ;)

I actually feel like this sense of entitlement is probably spread throughout Notts County and it’s a big part of the problem within the culture of the club, non-league would probably do them good in the long run just like Luton.

But yeah I do sympathise with how hard it must be for County fans being vastly inferior to the old mining town club down the road, but it is how it is and a fully matured adult should be able to admit it and that’s it, not admit it then go on about the history of a club and attendances to try and make themselves feel all warm and cuddly inside about it.

OMG you’re still trying ? Ok , let’s chat .

First off who’s an old bastard ? I’m still in my 30s just , are you on about Spanishstag Conker ? I do feel sorry for the younger Notts fans as they have never seen us player in the top two leagues when we were. Very good side. I have thankfully

Question . Could next season be the first time since your inception that Mansfield Town are in a higher division than both bitter rivals Chesterfield and local rivals Notts ?

I haven’t checked the record books but if so then no wonder you are feeling so giddy . From 1897 to 2019 , that’s quite the wait to be in such a lofty position compared to the local teams around you .

Well done , you’ve been so patient you fully deserve it

Right the game is over Mansfield won as expected based on league table , form table , historical records of the past two decades . This was anticipated by all on here expect Conker and Adamstag before who predicted a —1 draw and a home defeat . But now afterwards are talking how they won easy bets , it was inevitable etc what a plot twist we couldn’t see that coming haha

We can now move on we’ve got bigger things to worry about than this expected loss at Field Mill and a low turnout in the away section

P.S. don’t forget it was a few Stags fans on here who decided to bring up and highlight the likely low away following and calling it pathetic ! Which is hilarious when your home support season after season is so laughably limited . Just a really strange decision to go off topic all things considered.

Just a friendly reminder folks

Can we please talk about this season ONLY!!!

Not last season, nor any season before that, in either clubs history. As we’ve clearly been told numerous times that the past doesn’t matter, we must ignore the history books.

Those are the rules setdown, we all know them now, so can we all respect them on this thread*

* obviously elsewhere within the forum , a club’s history still counts and we can make reference to previous seasons so on those threads please continue as normal.

So we won 2-0 with some ease.

Next team please. Forest green are sure to pose a more serious threat next weekend, challenging games over the Christmas period.

£10 on CJ Hamilton to score 2 or more goals at 22s was alright

Jordan had it on, he was buzzing. Jammy sod.

Mind, -1 at evens against a side like that was too hard to resist, £25 made with ease.

Did feel a bit sorry for county really.

I think it's because Adam and his like realise the hold on us is just temporarily and not sustainable.

Who knows what the future may bring, maybe hardy might even start running your club properly? Only time will tell...

Just to clarify as I’m sure the majority know, I was not calling anybody in particular a old bastard.

Let’s not get touchy and emotional I can’t help it if my posts wind people up nor am I particularly bothered.

Nobody knows . He could even turn out like Keith Haslam who allegedly stole money from the club by paying himself both an annual wage and regular large dividends . His near 20 year tenure completely ruined Mansfield Town FC for that time period and has set the club back so far due to his alledged selfish actions .

Some say his ownership was the direct cause of the Stags getting relegated to Non league football . But that’s very hard to prove . Could football fans see that coming in the early 1990s ? I doubt it But that’s football it can change so quickly from one season to the next ! As Notts fans know better than anyone currently haha

When you get long posts of tripe in reply to your posts you know county fans are rattled. It must be hard for them to accept.

Good move Adam direct your posts to ya buddy Conker. Anywhere else and you tend to get continually embarrassed and shown up.

And Enzo, I’m going to have to warn you about talking about the past. Chairman Haslam is strictly off limits on this forum#toopainfulamemory

Yes. That’s obviously the case :ffs:. I enjoy our conversations they give me a good laugh.

Haslam isn’t off limits at all. The dodgy chairman baton has been passed on to chesterfield and county.

Magic that’s great news. So if you had to estimate just how much do you think Keith Haslam profited from the club? How many millions did he pocket during his tenure?

And do you believe, as some do, his actions directly and inevitably caused your beloved MTFC to be relegated out of the football league in 2008?

As for dodgy chairman, Hardy maybe ineffective , mistake ridden but I’ve heard nothing about dodgy practices. Do you know something we don’t? We’ve had some interesting characters run Notts in my time but nothing on a par with Haslam or Brown.

If I’m wrong name names ? I’d be interested to know whom

To be fair they are finally going to see and feel how the other half live . So you can’t blame the over the top giddiness , time to finally enjoy being the top dog amongst the East Midland muts. If we ignore Lincoln City of course haha so second

You snapped then, on a Internet forum of all things.

If we were Americans you’d be seeing a psychiatrist by now.

To be fair I could do seeing a psychiatrist too but not because of football

Hi Enzo Scifo's Right Foot,

I've noticed that you have suggested that I stick to the truth, what exactly I have supposedly lied about is a mystery but nevertheless I would like to pick at a few 'truths' from what I have quoted above.

Firstly, can you please have a look at page seven (7) of this thread where a post from yours truely gives my actual prediction of the Nottinghamshire derby yesterday, and I quote 'I'm going for a 2-1 win in a tight contest' Now i'll admit the 'tight contest' bit was incorrect but the actual scoreline was not far off.

I have scoured this thread looking for suggestion I won a 'easy bet' or suggested the result was 'inevitable' but I have been unable to locate anything that corresponds so I would appreciate clarifcation on this.

Please stick to the truth,

Thanks, Conker.

Sure ,not a problem . Previous to page 7 you predicted 1-1 .

Little Mansfield against city based big spenders Notts County?

1-1 all over it.

As for the easy bet and inevitable that was aimed purely at your stablemate Adam , who originally predicted a home defeat (ive already quoted this after Adam wrongly denied it ) then after the victory he claimed it was inevitable like England beating Latvia . Also no mention of any bets pre game but naturally that changed a full 180 afterwards when the £25 bet on Stags -1 handicap bet suddenly appeared . Strange bet for someone who thought Stags would lose wouldn’t you say ! Haha

Before posting you two really should check what you have previously written . Schoolboy error .

As for the untruths , there is no mystety . You have ( multiple times ) simply made things up on this thread to suit your side of an argument , an argument that just isn’t there . Seeing as nearly all Notts fans predicted defeat and openly admit we are light years behind Mansfield on the pitch as things stand . The league table tells you that champ

We can carry on this if you want , but if either of you want that , please remember what you said previously it’ll help things massively

I obviously predicted 1-1 as a joke due to our ‘draw specialists’ tag, talk about clutching at straws.

Please provide evidence of things that I have made up, I’ve actually put forward some evidence that you are a little fibber.

I reckon this should be put up to a L2 section wide vote who won, I could do with another imaginary trophy on my mantlepiece :D

I think it would resemble yesterday. Notts put up a good fight but we’re ultimately outclassed.

If you did you could show it off to your imaginary best friend.

This thread has hit a new low with Conk’s last delusional post, and seeing as the game is now in the past and history it doesn’t count according to Adam, I’m happy to
leave you three nerds to it .

Have fun boys :lol::wave:

I wonder if he's actually admitting defeat and not going to post again, OR will the urge be too much to ignore.

If he really does stay away he deserves a forum respect point, and a little gold sticker.
