Yet you predicted a home defeat before the game so basically not like England beating Latvia at all haha

How the wind has suddenly changed direction

No I didn’t. Please find a whole post from me where I said you’d win without anything else being said?

Ok , here you go

Maybe as I said elsewhere that you win, given the scenario we’re both in that’s the kinda thing football produces.

Doesn’t sound anything like England vs Latvia to me haha . It’s ok you do this before every game

Unless we sign yet more players we will go down, we are that bad. Lightweight, short of bottle, lacking in key areas. Thirty eight man squad and we still need a minimum of two ideally four new players.
What a reeking mess.
Hamilton always looks a handful against us.

It’s indeed to have that big a squad, spent that much money and to be so unbalanced and so short in key areas/type of players. But if the chairman doesn’t bring a couple of effective different type of players the new manager has next to no chance of turning this sinking ship around

County were the better team in the first 20 minutes but did nowt with it, in fact the only player that shown any sort of threat was Nathan Thomas.

After that it was all a breeze for a Mansfield team that only played average themselves.

CJ Hamilton is on fire at the moment though, definite to have bids in January and we need to hold on to the summer.

Adam please for the love of god for one day stop being a dick you say the same things before and after this match every single season. It’s so scripted it might as well be the WWE

Yeah, exactly, there’s always the chance such a ridiculous thing could happen, not saying it would. Nor did it look like happening.

From what I’ve seen of football across league 1, 2 and the conference county looked a solid top 10 conference side, there was no quality in any department today, lots of effort and endeavour as you’d expect in such a big game for them.

I remember us being so bad when we had Nathan thomas, good lord - could trap the ball further than I could kick it. That he was the biggest thread said it all

But you said “maybe I said elsewhere that you win” ! They are your exact words . That is predicting a home defeat .Ok you’ve been on the pop since the game so I will let you off this time haha

I do trust you on all things conference football mind, as you have plenty of experience of all things Top 10 in the conference haha

Enjoy your night , I’m going out to dinner later with the Mrs and thanks to Man of the Match Hamilton it’s going to basically a Freebie . It’s a small silver lining but definitely a silver lining all things considered

Pretty much as expected, up until the goal I thought it was an even game where both teams had chances, but all season we’ve completely folded once things have started going against us and did so again.

Agreed with you, county started well as you’d expect trying to impress a new manager, there was some decent play and a few chances, very end to end. You always thought if we got the first goal we’d go on and win as there was no real quality or belief in county once they went behind. Has that one on one gone in who knows.

hemmings and Dennis showed absolutely nothing as expected, bless them.

The county players and management adjusted well to being followed by such a small away support, it would deflate you knowing your fans aren’t man enough to follow you through the bad times, but they were right to stay away in the long run knowing the inevitable would happen.

Hopefully hardy managed to meet up with radford again and get some pointers on how to run a club.

Hamilton has improved an incredible amount since joining us. I didn't rate him much when he first joined as he isn't the naturally the most intelligent footballer, but he has pace to burn and he appears to be adding that end product to his game. Two goals from him today (the second was brilliant), a shot against the bar and a great ball that Walker should have converted. Appreciate that the opposition weren't great but he is currently very good.

We need big changes if we are to stay up. Why we dismantled a top 4 side is beyond me. I’m not saying we sign boat loads more, we just need to get a decent 11 out.

Turley, Fitzsimmons, Patching all no where near good enough. Jones looks well off match practice.

Hopefully Ardley can find something to keep us up but it is very worrying.

Tut tut, if only you showed as much class has Hamilton, I suppose youve never heard of the saying'never hit a man when he's down on the canvas '

That was exactly my thoughts pre game. If we conceded first it was game over. We throw points away on a regular basis we don’t really do comebacks. That’s why I was so confident of the inevitable result today

Well that is the poorest County side I have seen for many a year. It was even worse than the side which lost 5-0 a few years ago.

Looks like Dennis is on for a hattrick of relegations.

When you’re basically on the floor from your own creation it’s hard to gauge.

Its simple really our home support is basically 4000 not really to hard too understand

Yup you’ve nailed it once again Adam. That quote from Spanishstag really does explain a lot :ohy:Must be horrible most seasons playing in front of so few at home.

I will never forget that quote, most truthful thing the old man has said on here.... ever. Explains everything

I think it was probably our worst home performance of the season, had we played anyone decent we might have really struggled.

Here it comes, as usual, don’t forget those pre match predictions gents :ffs:

I’m not sure why Stags fan show thought anything else look at the league table , look at the history in this fixture. We basically all said it beforehand but it was seemingly ignored , unlike the bookies 4/9

How depressing

Cute xx or blah blah are the correct and really only responses. :surr::lol:

Yeah. Cool. Of course

I’m sure they’ll be chances for you to win again soon. You all predicted you’d lose so least its not a bad evening in your latest failure.

Poor Alan hardy, he’s backed the wrong horse
