High in confidence Fleetwood entertain Northampton at Highbury knowing a win could put them in the top 2 if results go there way.

Northampton are 6 points off the drop zone and willl want to declare themselves safe as soon as possible in their first season in league 1.

A win here and it's full steam ahead for the playoff charge.

In all seriousness, I wasn't expecting anything from away games at Southend and Fleetwood so a point here would be another bonus

Cant make it on Saturday which is a shame as I really enjoyed the Southend game and we are definitely playing some entertaining football. See this being another high scoring draw.

Actually think we are going to win this game. Sounds extremely optimistic but I've got a feeling it's going to be one of those days where everything goes right for us. We have improved a lot under Edinburgh and Fleetwoood's unbeaten run has got to end at some point.

Your right about the run, as a fan you get to the point where you're waiting for it to end rather than anticipating a continuation.

All the games are fine lines and I doubt this will be any different, we dont really hammer anyone just well organised and resolute.

Expectations here are generally low and that helps the team but there is pressure applied now given we find ourselves in with a chance and Northampton will be hoping to take advantage of any nerves.

How is Ben Davies doing for Fleetwood?

Written off by a lot of PNE fans but still only 21, potential to play in the Championship? or do you think this league is his limit?

Slotted well into the team and would be a good signing to make if the opportunity arose.Do you he could play for you in the Championship or us ? !!

We're the better side here, missed some good chances and we really need to kick it in the net a bit more #analysis

If you got promoted then i'd like to see him loaned back to you, still some way off breaking into our team.

An outstanding 2nd half performance with some superb football from Fleetwood. Cobblers played a lot of good football in the first half and could easily have had a couple of goals, failure to capitalise against a form team and your up against it. Honestly lads it was a top class performance from the whole team.

Yeah that was the problem at our end. Didn't take our chances, and we were punished. We've looked very shaky at the back this year and it seemed to be the case again today.

Not just saying it but go back some 2 years when the future of your club was in the balance, and where you are now, that's a massive turn around. Your doing well in your first season in league 1, wish you well, good support from you apart that very small number who walked out on 60 minutes, can and never will understand it.

Christ, condescending views from someone who supports Fleetwood! I didn't think it could get much worse.

Northampton could easily have been 4 up at HT wind assisted but much like the chasing we got against Bradford Fleetwood hang in and are confident of getting the job done. Fans like players know Rosler will come up with a plan and find a way.

The 3 goal margin flattered us in fairness and we are in a position nobody expected, second is within our grasp but if Scunthorpe win their next two home games against Wimbledon and us then it all but guarantees them automatic. The question being is Alexander brave enough to go for it when he can almost touch victory? We know his personality from his time here.

The next week could decide the automatic positions but with a bit of luck we can keep that alive with a favour from Wimbledon and a good performance at Scunthorpe next Saturday.

Whatever happens its been an unexpected season for us so hopefully have a shot at playoffs worst case scenario.
