If you go and watch regularly they'd get a ticket. 2k is more than their average away following so shut up talking nonsence
So if you're not a regular follower of your team away from home, you're "fucking pathetic"? I don't think it's me talking "nonsence" pal, seriously.

Well your not really a fan are you if you don't follow your team. It's quite simple really.

What constitutes as a fan in your eyes? Do you have to attend x amount of away games per season? Because you just said it's "fucking pathetic" that Derby fans on here didn't go, most of whom wouldn't even qualify for a ticket.

Basically yes. A fan is someone who attends home and away games.

I don't fancy paying £40 to be a member, just for the privilige of being in with a chance of being able to spend that again to get a ticket for Forest away.

Plus I'm so pessimistic, I'd talk myself out of it anyway.

You what? So we sell out 2k tickets and not allowed anymore and you're having a go because some fans off this site didn't go? If we sold out how the fuck can I get a ticket? Sit in the home end? No ta!

Please engage your brain before you speak you idiot.

Rubbish.

My Dad is 78, has been going to watch Derby 70 years and still has a season ticket. Because he doesn't go away now is he not a fan?

What about people who have emigrated but maybe went home and away for years before moving overseas? Are they not fans?

What about the elderly and infirm or disabled who are housebound, but sit down religiously next to the radio every Saturday to listen to the progress of "their" team? Are they not fans?

What about people who work shifts or are on 24/7 call so cannot make games? Are they not fans?

If you think about it hard enough, assuming you have a brain, every club including yours, will have fans that meet these and other scenarios?

You make a good point tbf and I am in the wrong for those points you make. But are rammy and the other one in that situation I highly doubt it.

Finding out I'm not a fan of Derby County anymore has made my day. :2thumb: Fucking shithouses.

Don't really get the attending games/fan/half fan argument, I'm just as interested now as I was 3/4 years ago when I was going home and away most weeks. Fair play to those that do go all the time, albeit a tad weird, they should always have first dibs on tickets.

Do we still do a first come first served for away members or do we do it on away games attended yet? I know when we used to get 4k at the City ground it was still a struggle to get them purely down to people buying an away membership just for Forest. Never understood why we didn't introduce a system on away games attended, missed out on a couple of big hitters the last time we were in the Prem thanks to the shitty system we've had with away members.

Rammy's just said that he doesn't want to pay for £40 membership to attend one game per season (Forest), and why would he?

I'm sure he won't mind me saying that he's just moved into a new house and probably has things that are much more important to spend £100 on than Forest away which is usually on tele anyway. Not everyone has a bottomless out of money that they can delve into to watch football every week, as much as I'm sure we'd all like to.

I don't even think I constitute a half fan any more.

I've been to two games this season, both at home in the cup, despite having ample chance to go and watch the games.

I'm still fairly interested in the club and what not, but I rarely have the inclination to go and watch the games any more. I'm the one that should be at the tail end of the abuse, not those who actually go when they can.
