Hi, i come from Austria and i got tickets for the game Arsenal- Hull City for me and my two kids in area 23 (clock end), kick off on Saturday 11th of February at 12:30. After that match we have to go to Stansted Airport immediately. How long do you think it will take to go from the emirates to liverpool street underground station? How would you manage it? Thank you very much! Ulrich

I don't know train times, but the quickest to me would likely be taking the train from Drayton Park to Moorgate and walking to Liverpool Street from there.

Drayton Park is closed before and after games.

11th February there is no service between Liverpool Street and King's Cross St Pancras on the Circle/ H&C/ Met so I'd go from Arsenal to Holborn on the Piccadilly and then catch the Central to Liverpool Street. That would normally take approximately 30 minutes (however I would always allow much longer for a regular journey if I had a train to catch, the Central especially has been prone to a fuck up recently with faulty trains almost a daily occurrence - additionally have in mind you need to get from Liv St underground to Liv St national rail, find the correct platform etc).

There will additionally be a squeeze getting onto the tube at full time with the crowds, not a clue how much extra that will add, maybe someone who has frequented Arsenal more than I have will be able to comment.

You can tell I've not been there in a while!

I thought that but I checked the website and it says it takes 2 hours? I thought there was a direct train between there and Stanstead, though?

When I went to the emirates i went via Finsbury Park, approx 10 mins walk, Tottenham Hale is approx 5 mins on the tube.

Tottenham Hale to Liverpool Street is 15mins, it's a loop train from Liverpool Street to Stansted so you could still take the underground to TH and then an overground train to Liverpool Street Wien1414

Tottenham Hale doesn't have the luggage storage. If time isn't an issue before the game, could you check your luggage in at stansted then travel back for the game?

Also, you've no doubt watched a few Arsenal matches, the stadium starts to empty on 80mins, I'm not sure what the queues are like at the tube, especially if you wait until the final whistle, I'm guessing it could be anywhere up to an hour to queue to get on a train. Someone like Mustard might be able to help with that.
