Blimey, what has Page done to that Northampton side?!

I know they had injuries today, but that team was superb last season. I actually think from about 33 minutes onwards we were in absolute cruise control, didn't get out of second gear and still won in that time 1-0, it genuinely looked as if we could have scored whenever if we decided to turn it on again.

Would not be surprised to see Page gone by Mon, but still great performance from us, exceptionally clinical. Now if we can sort away form out a little, playoffs could be very possible

No sour grapes here AG, been expecting a result like this for fecking ages (since the inept one took over to be honest)
Good luck to the Gas, you`ve managed to keep the your team together unlike us, Page has taken over a decent team
that would have done well in league 1 and completely destroyed it

That was an amazing game, Rovers were excellent obviously but Northampton were so poor that in the second half Rovers basically just went into friendly mode. Loved the moment when Northampton got one shot on target and their fans were dancing and started singing "we had a shot" Great day and feel for the Cobblers fans we have all been to an away game where basically the team didn't bother to turn up.

Not yet. We still need a few additions and the defence has leaked goals. Could be singing a different tune at the end of Jan though.

Remarkable that the team that started today all played for us in the conference.

Not all of them played in the conference miagsy, James Clarke, Montano, & Bodin all joined after the conference promotion, but still, 8 out of 11 isn't bad!

On vacation in Amsterdam and completely forgot we were playing. Had a text from a mate saying "jesus 5-0 mate". Honestly thought that we lost for a moment only to look on bbc sport and see we won 5-0! Amazing!

Must be very strange for Boetang as well that.

If we sort this defence out and get the right players in, we could push for the play offs but honesty, I'd bite your hand off for 10th right Now

Page has got to go. Lost 10 in 12. Just defending on the edge of our box every game. Destroyed a league 2 winning side for no reason. Just get rid now so we can avoid going down.

If he dosnt go just have to hope that there are 4 teams so awful that somehow we stay up.

Scunthorpe at home next week.. That could get nasty.

Game over after 24 minutes. Can't remember the last time we were 4-0 up so quickly. Should have been given a definite penalty soon after as well when O'Toole handled.

As others have said we were in complete cruise control from that point on and subbed 3 important players to give them a rest. Still managed a 5th and could easily have had more.

Northampton are unrecognisable from the team that walked away with the L2 title.

The Hotel End is in meltdown at the mo with the vast majority wanting Page to fuck off.
If he was going to be sacked I`d have thought it would have been done by now so I have a
horrible feeling he`s gonna be still in his position at least until it`s too late.
Don`t like to see anyone have to join the dole queue but if he stays then I fear we`re on
our way down we really are that bad

Superb performance both collectively and individually. Ellis was unplayable (if he performed like that more often and not once every 20 games he'd be scarily good), Ollie Clarke was superb (and I'm really not his biggest fan normally) and McChrystal was a breath of fresh air alongside Locks. Bodin's goal and Harrison's third were stunning strikes, which I didn't really appreciate at the time.

I know Cobblers had a few absentees but that was as inept a performance as I have ever seen from an opposing team. We were so much better in every regard that I genuinely felt sorry for the visiting fans, because they were being embarrassed.
