That's 3 times I've put her up on here - 3 times she's won.

I have another one tomorrow Inishowen Legend trap 5 20.50 (I think). Not a certainty but should run well.
Dan...whereabouts mate?

Hennessey meet off to a decent start today. Was on Clan De Obeaux (3/1), Uknowwhatimeanharry (6/1) and Lough Derg Leader at Donny (5/2). I had San Benedeto with them in a Lucky 15 and it got chased down in the last 50 yards, I was devastated. At 7/1 with the other prices I'd have fetched well over a grand. As it was, just around £150. It looked the winner coming into the last...

My tip for the Hennessy Gold Cup is Smad Place, I think he's a superb price at 10/1. He absolutely dominated this race last year in a front running performance, and if he's in that mood again I can't see the 11lb rise stopping him. He's 3/4 at the track and recently had a run that would have shifted the cobwebs. Almost certainly will go off shorter than this price

Let's hope Dan's dog does the biz as I have slipped a tenner out of my football punting stash and stuck it on the the Legend!

Wow Thistlecrack... These were no mugs he absolutely desomated there. Glided over the jumps. Starting to think nothing can get near this novice in the gold cup...

My first of the day, Born Survivor slammed into 2/1 from 4/1 but seemed to get rustled by the stands down the straight as his head was hung badly, disappointing. My 2nd bet, Who Dares Wins hacks up at 11/2 :)

Is this race on BAGS? I can't see a price anywhere

I backed Cue Card last year & it was cruising until he fell (2nd last?). Will be some race this year I think!

Just hung on there.
Yeah Carole's Destrier ran a fantastic race. How many top quality staying chasers does Colin Tizzard want though?

Cue Card would have won that race for sure, but I was on Don Cossack so I didn't mind :£

Took a right wallop at the 2nd bend and that was that. Our kennel had 2 other winners last night and only backed the one that got beat!

Sorry, guys.

Do fancy Thistlecrack for the Gold Cup. Love Coneygree and his reappearance was very good behind Cue Card but looking back at his Cheltenham win - the main rivals either underperformed or aren't at the level of a couple of these...Cue Card and Thistlecrack are better than Djakadam/Road To Riches etc. Should be a good race if they all turn up in one piece anyway - though Coneygree would need it softish.

Does Tizzard enter them both though in the same race though? Or split them up for the extra prize money? I'd love to see Cue Card and Thistlecrack race each other

Well he obviously he could piss the RSA with Thistlecrack. Can't be arsed checking but the prize money for 2nd or 3rd in the Gold Cup can't be bad in comparison?

Tbh he might have already said the plan with Thistlecrack but I only follow from a distance these days.

EDIT: Just seen an interesting point...if Cue Card wins at Kempton then he'd be on for the 'triple crown' bonus which could mean they try keep the competition down at Cheltenham? That's more likely than just general prize money.

I did the same thing, thought it had a good chance and just left it alone

 I backed it at 16s at Cheltenham earlier in the year and have had it on my tracker since. Been waiting weeks to make a reappearance and when it does, I bottle it.

Read part of an article in the Daily Record this morning and I get the feeling from what Tizzard is reported as saying that Thistlecrack & Cue Card will be going for the big one. Hmmm!

I think he has to run them both. Although Tizzard trains them both, they run in different colours and so will have different owners who will probably want their horses in the best races. It'll be a bit ironic if Cue Card wins the King George on boxing day for the 2nd leg of his million pound bonus but Thistlecrack denies him in the gold cup.

Douvan pulled out of the Tingle Creek, that after Ruby had a laugh at the bookmakers for pricing him up at 5/1 before slashing to 7/4.

Mullins is sending Un De Sceaux to the Tingle Creek instead. His stable does seem to have started rather slowly, Douvan, Faugheen, Annie Power, Vroom Vroom Mag and Djakadam all yet to reappear. Most have had entries but then he's withdrawn them saying they haven't looked right in training. Perhaps the death of Vautour has knocked the stuffing out of the stable a bit.
