Two sides struggling after blistering starts (particularly Hudders), right time to be playing each other.

Unfortunately, we're nowhere near hard enough to beat away from home so it'll be another defeat here and back on track for Huddersfield.

Fielding
Matthews, Flint, Magnusson, Golbourne
Paterson, O'Neil, Pack, Freeman
Tomlin
Abraham
3-0 Huddersfield, 785 away fans.

Huddersfield in a slightly false position given their -3 goal difference. They seem to dominate games but have trouble scoring with their 'Premier League midfield but League One strikeforce' as I once read on DATM.

Take a draw 1-1.

400 away tickets sold so far which is piss poor. Dunno why our fans are so scared of the North, not that hard to get to.

400, you're genuinely a laughing stock.

We're coming for you, watch your backs.
I've got me BARROW to shift stuff Aber. 4,000 at home? You couldn't even 'COME' to a bloody home game. Who's the laughing stock again?

I'm going but it's a fair old journey, 600 of us will probably make a better go of it than the pathetic effort at Reading the other week.

Posts nothing to do with me. I still think you're all barely civilised peasants but the previous jibes over your ( very important) away support were not mine.
Good day.

We've actually been paying alright recently, in our last 4 games we've had 65-70% possession and nearly 4 times as many shots as our opponents, but we're quickly learning how irrelevant that is. We're extremely vulnerable to counter attacks and set pieces, so until we learn how to deal with that we're very hard to predict.
We're not all that different to the side that started the season on fire, but we were an unknown quantity back then and often got the rub of the green, which we really haven't recently.

sounds just like us Ankle Biter. We're creating a daft number of chances but not taking them. I've been reading your DATM forum and there seems to be quite a few parallels between the sides TBH.

Not as confused as I was. Someone managed to get into my account and started posting rubbish on this thread. Sorted now hopefully.

Oh I see. It did seem rather out of character for you.

Anyway, tomorrow is a game we should be looking at getting a positive result from given Huddersfields form. Likewise, they will be looking at this as the ideal sort of game to get their season back on track after a poor run. I d take a draw all day long, especially as we have got two very winnable home fixtures coming up. 1-1 for me.

I was aware of Aber's predicament, my apologies for not letting everyone know. :(

Our away record is actually pretty hideous. Hadn't realised quite how bad til I checked: 1 point in 5 and 8 in 10 in total, compared to 19 in 9 at AG. So I'm not expecting too much here. They're not in the best of form themselves but by the sounds of it they battered Blackburn last week and were very unlucky.

Could be a very good weekend though if we do get a result. Win would move us ahead of them and with the top 6 all playing each other we'd be bound to gain ground.

Think I'd bring Reid back in for Wilbs. 2 up top worked against Ipswich who looked to keep it tight and with their big defenders it was the right call to get someone else up supporting Tammy, but Huddersfield play a very different way and I think we could do with the extra man in midfield.

Fielding
Matthews Flint Magnusson Golbourne
Pack
O'Neil Reid
Freeman Tomlin
Abraham
Featured game on FLT apparently so they'll be streams available. Should be a good game to watch, but I think they'll nick it 2-1

Poor goal there; gave the ball away easily and then left Kachunga unmarked in the box.

Cracking start, get fucked Golbourne.

We're so unbelievably wank on the break, it's no surprise we're picking up so few points on the road. Decision making in the final third is dreadful.

Nasty challenge on Huddersfield 17, but how many rolls on the ground was that, only to bounce straight up when the yellow came out. Prick.

Much improved since our equaliser but certainly second best in terms of possession and chances.

Can't say I would have had any complaints if Frankie had been sent off there.

What a pathetic defensive effort that was.

No organisation or any sort of structure, and to top it off our decision making on the break was shit as always. It's not hard to see why we are so so bad on the road.

Poor bastards who wasted a day travelling up there to watch that non-event.

That was a well deserved win for Huddersfield, but why did THAT have to be the winning goal.. Absolute joke from both Korey and Fielding that. Not many positives to take from today for us, it only further reinforces just how badly we need an injection of quality in January.

Paterson tweeting Huddersfield players earlier about not being included in the squad, what a tit.
